Discovered there is always room for SHIN RAMYUN!

Gangnam Station OC in Buena Park, CA has to be one of the best spots for AYCE KBBQ in terms of quality, variety, service and atmosphere. I enjoy how spacious the restaurant is and how I can instantly I get food from the meat bar. Their salad dressing is a creamy sesame dressing and I love it. Even on the lowest tier, everyone is going to find something they are looking forward to grilling and enjoying.

Don’t forget at the end, request for Shin Ramyun! My tummy made some space and it was delicious! I loved how I could add the veggies from the bar, leftover banchan and cooked grilled meats into the ramyun. It was sooo good!

Gangnam Station in Buena Park is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots around! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for both casual dinners and celebrations with friends. The meat quality is top-notch—fresh, well-marinated, and cooked just the way you like it right at the table.

The side dishes are generous and constantly refilled, adding the perfect balance to the rich BBQ flavors. Service was fast, attentive, and friendly, servers checked in often without being overbearing, making sure our grill was always ready for the next round.

Prices are very fair for the quality and amount of food you get, and the all-you-can-eat option is definitely worth it if you’re hungry. Parking is also convenient, which makes the experience even better.

If you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ with great vibes and excellent service, Gangnam Station Buena Park is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Every time I come here I’m pretty impressed. Their meat quality is really good especially for AYCE. you have to get their $40 option since you have so many more meats. I love the beef tongue and their short rib. Their sides are also so good and they have a whole self serve section full of special marinated meats. I like the one with pineapple and don’t sleep on the pork belly.

If you’re coming for a la carte I recommend their spicy cold noodles. Huge portion and so refreshing.

The food was decent. The meat bar was different in a good way.
Grills were dirty.
So was some of the silverware on the table.
The servers were great.
But the host, the one with the deep voice shouldn’t be working with customers. He should be working in the back somewhere. His attitude towards us was just condecending.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I absolutely would. The food is decent, but no food is decent enough to be treated the way we were. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

Our experience was completely ruined by our waiter, Taehyung. From the moment we were seated, he barely came by our table to take our order. Throughout the entire meal, he never checked in on us, and it was nearly impossible to get his attention whenever we wanted to order more meat. His section was not busy at all as there were multiple empty tables right behind us so the lack of service was honestly baffling.

Whenever we did manage to get his attention, he was rude, dismissive, and constantly rolling his eyes, as if we were inconveniencing him by asking for service. At one point, when we asked for more meat, he abruptly told us that we were at our limit and that this was our “last call,” asking what we wanted. This completely caught us off guard because no one ever told us there was a time limit or that last call was approaching. When we asked for a few minutes to decide, he rolled his eyes at us again.

When we finally placed our order, he warned us that if we didn’t finish the meat, we would be charged per plate. There were six of us, and the frustrating part is that we had barely been able to order throughout the meal because we could never get a hold of him in the first place. Immediately after saying this, he dropped off the check, making it obvious that he was trying to rush us out.

We fully understand that restaurants have time limits and rules, but basic communication and respect are the bare minimum. A simple heads-up like, “Just to let you know, last call will be in 15 minutes,” would have completely changed the situation. Instead, everything was handled in a way that felt abrupt, careless, and extremely unprofessional.

Overall, this experience was truly terrible and left us speechless. It genuinely felt like we were being pushed out. Service like this completely overshadows the food and makes it very hard to ever want to come back.

We came here for dinner on Saturday and chose 39.99 tier. First, the table was sticky and the seat had unknown liquid on it. Second, the service was terrible. The server was too rush and busy. Third, the meat was not good at this price level. 2/3 of the beef brisket were fat??? The steak was dry, like chewing rubber. Would not recommend this place.

Food was great! Meat quality very good, love the variety of ways to pay and options to choose.

However, the service was absolutely awful. They were severely understaffed on a Friday afternoon, making it nearly impossible to order any extra meats. Our main server seemed to intentionally avoid the table at all costs, and when we did manage to order something he acted like it was a personal insult. At one point we waited over 10 minutes for a replacement grill. We also had to ask for the same foods several times because the server(s) had forgotten or just didn’t care.

After all this, they included an automatic 18% gratuity, and have the gall to include an option for an extra tip.

It’s mid tier. Theres nothing too bad about the place, or anything that makes it stand out.

The side dishes weren’t flavorful, and kimchi wasn’t too fresh. The meat selection itself didn’t seem to be the best cuts.

The way it setup is very confusing as you have to get certain items from the bar then order certain meats from the server.

To be honest, it’s an average Korean bbq place that is WAAAAYYY over priced… for that price you can go to any number of places 100 yards from it and get better quality for a cheaper total…

I don’t see it being a lasting restaurant in the area.

TO THE MANAGER AND OWNER:
Before responding to this comment, make sure you READ it CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY from beginning to end.
Do not reply with generic apologies, excuses, or scripted responses.
Address every single point clearly and honestly — because this situation was caused by your policy and your staff, not the customer.

On December 24, we dined at your restaurant with 4 adults and a 5-month-old baby.

Without proper explanation, you automatically added an 18% gratuity, treating us as 5 guests.

Let me be absolutely clear:
My baby did NOT eat, did NOT drink water, did NOT use your tissues, did NOT use your chair, did NOT use your restroom, and received absolutely NO SERVICE from your restaurant.

Before we were seated, your staff clearly stated “table for four.”
So explain this: how do you justify counting my infant as a paying guest?

What kind of business does this?
Is this what you consider ethical service in the hospitality industry?
Is your goal to operate a restaurant, or to force gratuity and extract free money from customers under misleading conditions?

Even more unacceptable — the bill itself only charged for 4 adults, yet you still had the audacity to calculate gratuity as if we were 5 people.
So I will ask directly:
Does your owner believe they deserve guaranteed tips for careless and poor service?

Our water was never refilled.
Was it because gratuity was already included, so your staff felt no obligation to properly serve us, assuming the tip was guaranteed?

This is NOT our first time dining at an all-you-can-eat restaurant while bringing our baby, and no other restaurant has ever done something this dishonest, unreasonable, and misleading.

This was a shameful, frustrating, and extremely disappointing experience, especially for what should have been a pleasant visit.
To make matters worse, the floor was slippery and the ceiling was leaking, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and customer safety.

This experience was embarrassing and unacceptable.
I sincerely hope this happened only to us, because if this is how your restaurant routinely operates, it clearly shows that forced gratuity is valued more than genuine service and customer respect.

Buena Park has no shortage of great Korean food, but this spot stands above the rest.

We love how big and spacious it is, so they can accommodate big groups or smaller parties easily
easily. Despite how busy it got during lunch time, the servers were so on top of changing out our grill after each of the meats.

They have several a la carte items, along with 3 options for AYCE. We opted for the medium tier N
B, which includes the self serve meat bar and several premium tier meats from the kitchen – around 50 items total. Of course it came with several side dishes and salad too, along with a tray of dipping sauces.

When the meat came out we were both in a bit of disbelief- it’s so rare to find such high quality at an ayce spot for only $40 per person! Perfect fat ratios, and seasoned just right. The butter garlic chicken we tried from the self service buffet was some of the best chicken we’ve ever had at a kbbq restaurant before, no joke. My faves might just be the galbi, wagyu beef belly and ribeye though.

To cool off after our meat feast we shared a bowl of spicy cold noodles, which were only $10 to add on to the ayce option. It was the perfect end to our meal.
