Wow! Outstanding experience. We just left and I couldn’t write this review fast enough. We are from the south and this restaurant reminded us so much of home. My husband ordered the Sunday dinner (he learned it was more than enough for us to share!) and I ordered a fried pork chop, 3 roasted chicken wings with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Delicious! We have taken what we did not finish home to reheat tomorrow for lunch or dinner. Loved the service and will definitely return for many more meals! Our little boy will grow up eating here, too! A must try!
The dining room and bathroom were super clean and the dining room has plenty of seating!

Food was really good! You can tell that the recipes originated in the south! Everything was seasoned well,food was delicious! Just make sure you call ahead and ask what time the are cutting off the fryer. Drove almost an hour,2 hours before they closed, and was told that I couldn’t order anything fried because they had already shut the fryers down☹️

Conflicted about the service as I went twice in one day.
Earlier me and my partner at the register we stood and waited about 10 or so minutes before being greeted and then a 2nd person came and curated a more inviting atmosphere.
But the second visit later in the say was spot on and courteous.
Both times the food was AMAZING. Fish. Greens, cabbage. Cornbread, pork ribs, mac n cheese. …. we tried it all !!! We coming back !!!! Portion size is by far worth it. Eat twice off that plate !

I am directly from this area and have passed it many times not even noticing or seeing it. One of my friends told me about it. I ordered on line take out platters. It was New Year’s Eve so it seemed very crowded but everyone working there was so kind, organized efficient and fast. No easy task but they did it. I ordered the potatoe salad, fish and pork ribs along with collard greens, Mac and cheese and the cabbage. It’s truly like having home cooked delicious food without the effort or clean up. They do have an eat in area which I will be eventually enjoying an eat in meal at some point. The dining area is neat clean and attractive. The parking is street parking but not crazy and still manageable to find decent parking,even in this busy pre holiday time. I was in a hurry and just wanted to get my food and go which I did picking up my accurate on line pre order that was ready in time but I will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

OH. MY. GOSH. When I tell you this food is all THAT? Yesterday was my third time eating at this location and EVERY single time I have been nothing but satisfied. I almost couldnt drive home it was so good (I sat in the dining room to eat).Im a southern girl at heart and the food here reminds me of back home! I wanted to take a pic of my food, but I was so hungry that it got demolished before I was able to!! I told myself that I have to leave a review this time because the food is just that good and the prices are great for the portion sizes you get. Its always packed every time I go, but the workers work together and move quickly to get everyone served! Theres specifically a lady plating the food at the end and you can tell she loves where she works and serving the community! This will be my forever go to spot for a quick meal or a homecooked sunday dinner! Feels like home ❤️

It’s so amusing and pleasing that my meals of fried porkchop, garden rice, candied yams, tuna macaroni salad, potato salad, and BBQ beef ribs was all that and a bag of chips excellent. I work shopped at collingswood location in early 00s. I received some exciting and absolutely great news. I would post a Pic, but I can’t find the prompt to post image of my items. I ordered my items around 11:08a. and everything was fresh & tasty, especially the salads.

The lady behind the counter aims to please and make me feel at home. She always asks about my Dad who is 102 years old and loves Aunt Berta’s meals. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They make me feel like family.
