First time going to their new location on Hampton. I ordered the Mom’s Special. It has turkey, ham, roast beef, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, hold the onions, and thousand island dressing. Delicious sandwich. It was very filling. I ate half at lunch and the other half at dinner. The sandwich is packed with great flavors. They have several tables so you can enjoy your sandwich right there. The restaurant is very casual and ultra friendly.

I love the new location! I understand there is some nostalgia missed, but the seating at the new location is great! The mom’s special is just as tasty as ever and the dads special is unique with the side of gravy! I also couldn’t resist purchasing the frozen cannelloni to take home and cook!!

The new location is a nice upgrade! I always enjoyed the original locations charm but this spot is nice! The Moms Special was as good as ever and all the friendly and familiar staff was there working their tails off. I’m glad I can get back to my regular weekly visits. Parking lot in the back of building and inside seating are very nice additions. I’ll see you tomorrow for my second visit this week. Lol

First time to eat at Mama’s Deli. Got the Mom’s Special on French bread with dressing on side. Delicious! Took half home and heated it in microwave for 10 or so seconds. And I loved it that way too! Also got their tuna salad on French bread. I’m picky about tuna and this was yummy! We will be going back soon.

I’ve been coming here for years, and while I understand that things change and it’ll likely never be exactly like it was before the reopening, I’m struggling to find a reason to keep coming back. At this price point, you expect a certain level of quality and care in the sandwiches, but lately, it feels like I’m paying premium prices for something I could get at a standard fast-food drive-thru. I’ve really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and have visited several times since they reopened, hoping for that old spark, but unfortunately, I’ve left disappointed every single time.

I have been going to Moms Deli for 30 plus years and this was my first time at the new location, as I now live an hour away from St Louis. Still smells great when you walk in but I IMMEDIATELY felt the shift in energy from the old location. Staff was RUDE and incredibly unaccommodating. I also noticed on the Mom’s Special, they now use pizza cheese instead of the classic “munchee cheese” that they have ALWAYS used. Sandwich tasted completely different and not in a good way, subpar at BEST. I drove an hour to go to my most favorite sandwich shop in STL and feel that nostalgia when I walked through the door and the experience was anything but nostalgic. This was my first trip to the new location and sadly, after coming here for more than 30 years, probably my last.

Great Italian sub at Mom’s! Good bread and hearty size. They got this mayo mustard sauce that worked really well. Staff were kind, few seats out front on deck but not many. Good food, will be back!

What a great local deli. I had heard of this deli and am disappointed in myself that it took me a year to finally get there.
Street parking is available outside and they have some tables on the porch to sit on.
I got a warm roast beef with gravy and pepper jack, which was delicious.
They also have a good selection of local chips and other snacks.
Definitely worth checking out.

This small shop makes great food. I had a chicken salad sand. I could only eat 1/2. Too much food for me. However, I’ll be returning to try other sandwiches or salads. Popular place. Steady stream of customers. That alone speaks for itself.
