If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Thailand in the heart of Queenstown, @ Thai Cuisine Queenstown is an absolute gem. Tucked away upstairs, it offers a cozy escape with some of the most vibrant flavors in town.
Every dish we tried was a winner:
Spring Rolls: Perfectly golden and crispy, making for the ultimate “moreish” starter.
Green Curry Squid: A standout! The squid was tender, and the curry was rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced.
Tom Yum Soup: A “gift from heaven”—wonderfully spicy and sour, it’s the best way to warm up after a day of exploring.
Fried Rice: Simple, savory, and executed to perfection.
The portions are generous, the service is incredibly warm, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It’s easily some of the best Thai food in Queenstown

Overall good food, enough choices. A little downer for vegetarians since some of the dishes in the veggie section contain shrimp paste making it basically non-veg. Only yellow curry was a true veg curry but it was good. Bring your appetite as the food portions are American size portions. Tom yum was excellent. It’s upstairs so if you are not looking up, Google maps might confuse you. Small cozy place with lots of tables. Good place for a couple or a group of 6 or so. Service was relatively quick.

This is my sixth time dining at @ Thai Cuisine Queenstown, and it never disappoints. The food is very authentic, full of genuine Thai flavours, and consistently well prepared. Prices are also quite reasonable for the quality and location. A reliable favourite in Queenstown that I’m always happy to return to. Highly recommended.

The meals here were absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was hot and crispy. The fried rice had this smokey aroma. It’s easily one of the best thai restaurants I’ve ever visited!

Good tasting food but super disappointed with the portion sizes. I work next to the restaurant so was looking forward to a good value takeaway pad thai but was left disappointed to find the already small bowl it came in just over half full. Would definitely come back if the amount actually filled me up.

If you love Thai food, this place is an absolute must-try! We’ve tried 3–4 Thai restaurants during our stay in Queenstown, and this one is definitely the best. The flavours are authentic, the dishes taste just like home, and the service is warm and attentive. Highly recommended!

Occasionally, my family and I crave Thai food, and it’s incredible that we found a lovely spot in Queenstown.
You might need to Google it because it’s tucked away on the upper floor of a building.
I’m sure the taste is authentic—just like in Thailand—from my visits there. It really surprised me!
The food is also great value for money, with large portions. Truly incredible for Queenstown!
