Great place. Did was amazing. Everything we are we loved!! That doesn’t happen often. Great waiter and staff. Glass never got close to empty. Price was not bad for brunch buffet. All you can eat plus salad bar. They have everything you can think of to eat. The restaurant is decorated unbelievable!! Old boat motors and bicycles hanging from ceiling. It was a great restaurant and resort. That will cook your catch also. That’s cool. Please take the time to go here if your anywhere close. You won’t be disappointed I promise.

Or first time to go to Gastons, we went for the Sunday breakfast buffet, it was less than 15$ per person, although a cup of coffee is almost 4$. The breakfast was awesome! Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit and desserts, and cooked to order pancakes, waffles and omelets. Everything treated so good.
Shortly after we arrived, they were seeing up for the 10am brunch, and they said it was approved 20$ per person. Cheesecake was being put out on an elaborate dessert table!
It was super clean, the wait staff were attentive, and we just sat and enjoyed the river view while we ate. The restaurant is beautifully and peacefully decorated.
Gastons is a must visit!

The salad bar was one of the best I’ve ever had. All of the salads were made fresh & there were a lot of toppings for lettuce & their dressings. The Server recommended the Gastonburger (?) it came w cheese, bacon, fried onion ring, avocado slice, and pickle. It was fabulous. In addition to the great food, the view of the river from our table was delightful. After lunch we crossed the road to visit the peacocks.

We were there on a Wed evening and it was reasonably busy. Very very nice atmosphere and view is spectacular. Super cool antiques FILLED the entire place. Great salad bar, and grilled trout. My husband had the sautéed shrimp and it fell short on flavor.

You have to check out Gaston’s. Come for the views and grab lunch, dinner or a cold beer. Loaded salad “Boat” , Burgers, sandwiches and seafood. The view overlooking the river is great. You might be lucky to see a Bald Eagle or a load of hummingbirds in the summer.

We didn’t stay here, but you can rent cabins. Right on the White River, woth a lot of history to boot. Food was great. Ladies there were all friendly and helpful.

What a treat! The elk steak was SOOO GOOD! That was the most tenderest steak I’ve ever had. The sheepshead fish was also very good.

The jalapeno trout poppers are definitely something you want to try. Be careful with the salad bar, you will overload your plate. The key lime pie is the chef’s favorite and talk about smooth!!!

We were disappointed in the dinner at the restaurant. This was the first time we spent 95 dollars for the worst meal ever for these prices. Partially cooked bland green beans, fish with lobster sauce the did not taste like lobster and loadsed mashed potatoes that they charged 3.50 to put a little cheese and bacon on. The salad was the best part of the meal. We like the resort but will not eat at the restaurant again.

Great quiet place with a view to eat. Very pricey.
It’s not exactly an upscale resturant. But there prices are high. But overall decent food and atmosphere

I took my wife here for our wedding anniversary and loved it here. We got there a little early so we went down to the walking trail and went on it then went bk down to restaurant.
The food was really good and delicious, our server Josh was very good and respectful answered all our questions I had bout the draft beer they had. I recommend the Ozark Lager i think it was called and the prime rib and parmeson dinner was excellent!! Highly recommend this place!! They also had a group of planes that flew in also that were neat too look at!!
