I normally don’t leave reviews, but this location is horrible. They made me feel like I was wasting their time as I ordered, even rolling their eyes when I asked for chips and queso. The portion sizes at this location are significantly smaller than other locations. I have been to this location 3 times now, and each time I thought maybe it was jsut the day, but this is my experience each time. I will not be returning. Driving the extra 10 minutes to another location will be worth it. Worst experience ever.

Every time I come here I ask for a handheld steak burrito you guys can ring one up i know because I work for costa vida I dont want it in the combo I just want the burrito it is doable. Every time I ask youre employees aside from one get very rude about it they discuss the possibility of entertaining me long enough to burn my tortilla. Theyre skimpy on portions as well I asked for ranch instead of sauce and they gave me like an single ounce of ranch like charge me extra I dont care give me something tangible you know. Then instead of ringing me out or even acknowledging me the lady at the till talks to her coworker while the gal making my burrito has to finish me out. Overall very unprofessional and the service is frankly terrible and not the standard costsa vida strives to meet

We had the Murray location cater our Christmas lunches and they were outstanding! We had to order more food last minute, and they were helpful, accommodating and FAST!! What could’ve been a nightmare ended up being a very fixable and small problem thanks to their willingness to jump in and get us what we needed. They were always so kind with every pick up and interaction I had with them, I was very grateful!

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Costa Vida. When we walked in, the staff were just hanging out at the tables, socializing, and clearly in no rush to help anyone. Despite being first in line, we waited 10 minutes before they even started preparing food to take our order with a ton of unnecessary attitude.

The portions have gotten noticeably smaller, and the salad greens looked old—some even rotting. The tortillas weren’t made yet, and the beans were completely out.

Staff attitude was absolutely unacceptable. Vero, in particular, spoke with an unnecessary amount of attitude, and another young woman without a name tag was outright rude and loud. They were speaking to us like prison wardens—loud, aggressive, and condescending. We weren’t just treated like an inconvenience—we were treated like enemies.

There is clearly a toxic culture or a serious management issue at this location. This wasn’t a case of understaffing or a busy rush—it was laziness, hostility, and complete disregard for customer service.

Smaller portions than the other locations. When I asked the attendant to put more rice, the lady manager watched her and did not allow her to put so much. Even with the beans. They had a tray with almost no black beans, and she put just a little. The juice has no taste and the ranch sauce looks with water added to it. I did not know what happens in this location, but for what I know from the last reviews it’s something recurring. If you are the owner of this place and wants to save money you in some way, let me tell you someThing: “you are loosing clients”. ‍♀️

TERRIBLE!!!
Way overstaffed. Walked in at dinner time, no other customers. Should’ve took that as a hint to leave. 6 employees behind the counter and still waiting for tortillas to be made when we got up to the counter to order. The two middle age Mexican women were staring and laughing the whole way from the door to the counter. I ordered a small sweet pork salad and got the saddest pinch of pork. When I asked for a little more, I was told it would be $4.99. What!? At least put the right amount in the first place. She then told me “it’s 4 oz” and I wish I would’ve told her to with it because NO WAY was that even 4oz. Then, I asked for the bigger cup of ranch and was told that was an extra $0.45. Oh. My. God. The whole time the staff are just had attitudes and didn’t want to even be there I’m sure. Maybe… if you can learn to handle the 2 customers per 20+ min with half the staff, you wouldn’t have to take the budget cuts out on the portion sizes. Get rid of the Mexican woman. There’s several other reviews about them. They are HORRIBLE and ruining your business.

I didn’t even get food because the people making food kept cross contaminating by touching gluten items. I’m the past Costa Vida has been really good about making sure people with Celiac Disease are able to eat at their restaurants. I will not trust eating at this chain again because it would affect my health negatively.

My tomatillo ranch was forgotten for my salad and it’s the best part of the whole meal. Very sad I have been looking forward to this all week. It’s very bland without the dressing 🙁

I ordered a salad and asked to have my tortilla with just a bit of melted cheese. Manager Francisca informed me that this would be considered a quesadilla and that I would be charged for both a quesadilla and a salad. I clarified that I only wanted cheese melted on the tortilla — not a full second entrée — and I would completely understand an extra cheese charge, but charging for two separate plates is excessive and not reasonable. The situation felt rigid and unnecessarily difficult, and I left disappointed with the level of customer service.

A couple of years ago, I worked for Costa Vida as a manager myself, and it is truly disappointing to see how much the guest experience and flexibility have declined. Now I work as a truck driver and I’ve tried Costa Vida in multiple locations across the U.S. I have no issue paying extra when I request modifications, but being forced to pay for two full plates just because I asked for cheese melted on my tortilla feels excessive and unfair. I truly hope this location reevaluates how simple requests are handled and prioritizes guest experience the way Costa Vida used to.

I picked up lunch at the Murray location 12/26.
The pinto beans on my burrito were so under cooked that they were crunchy. I thought we’ll day after Xmas, maybe not reg staff, don’t know how to cook the beans or just out of the can and came that way. Ordered same thing today 12/30
same crunchy pinto beans. Both times very little sweet pork on the burrito. Won’t be back. Will take my money elsewhere.
