I normally go to the Waffle House on 301 but I was closest to the one on Columbus so I decided to stop in and get me a Texas cheesesteak plate so the cheesesteak was bland steak was chopped up bigger than what I usually get the hash browns were ok. I got mine, chopped covered, peppered, diced. Overall I give them an 6 out of 10 because of the steak sandwich was bland and wasn’t chopped up fine enough.

I came to Waffle House on a slow Saturday morning, and my server Michelle was fantastic! She went above and beyond to check-in on my table and even check-in with her own team and coworkers to make sure that our food was coming out on time. Incredibly kind, and the kind of 5-star service that we were so pleasantly surprised to receive.

Waffle House has really gone downhill. I watched the cook pick up a piece of toast that had fallen in between the cooking area and the toaster and then try to serve it. That was absolutely disgusting. I’m glad I was there to say something, because otherwise they really would have given it to a customer. On top of that, charging extra just to order your food to go is insane. Completely unacceptable.

We are in Tampa for a week on vacation and have bever been here before. This morning we called and ordered a takeout of 2 All-Star specials this morning. This is their most popular meal. We figured nothing could go wrong. Haha.
This was the soggiest breakfast I have had in a long time. The eggs were runny with a puddle of egg whites floating in the middle. The toast was thrown on top of the eggs so that one of the eggs yolks was now broken and already spilled. I love having the yolk in tact to spread over my hashbrowns but instead it soaked thru 2 pieces of toast! Grrr. Hashbrowns were undercooked and soggy as if removed from the freezer and then quick cooked and thrown in the container with the other items thrown on top of them. The ham was not involved in the mix and it was really quite good. The Waffle needed another minute ir two in the waffle maker as it was undercooked too. Sad breakfast for me but the dogs loved it.

This Waffle House is excellent. Went after a hockey game with my friends at around 11 pm and the staff was extremely kind to us. Very patient and engaged in friendly conversation with our group. The food was also very well made and very enjoyable. I will be returning to this Waffle House in the future. Thank you to the employees who were so kind to us so late at night and made dinner fun.

“Total rip-off at 1:22 a.m. The dining room is closed, so you’re forced to order from the to-go window. Then, they hit you with a mandatory 20% service fee just because it’s a ‘to-go’ order.
It makes no sense to charge a premium for takeout when you aren’t even giving customers the option to sit inside. You’re forcing me to pay 20% extra for a bag and plastic silverware I didn’t ask for. It’s a predatory way to treat late-night customers. Avoid this location until they open the booths or drop the ridiculous ‘convenience’ fee for a forced service. And to top it all off the staff has attitude.

We planned our trip and were excited to eat there until the employee told us not to use the outlet, for some reason. When we asked kindly if there was a reason why we couldn’t, she rudely told us to leave. Terrible service from an employee who clearly didn’t want to do her job.
