Upmarket, Korean-style grill offering premium cuts of beef such as dry-aged prime ribeye.

If you’re chasing premium Korean BBQ in the heart of K-Town, this spot is one of the more elevated experiences in the neighborhood. Jeong Yuk Jeom translates to “butcher shop” — and that’s exactly the vibe you get: hand-selected, dry-aged and wet-aged beef cuts cooked over charcoal that deliver rich flavor and juiciness worth savoring.
The restaurant’s interior is sleek and spacious, perfect for groups or date nights, with good ventilation so you don’t walk out smelling like a grill.
Upscale, flavorful, and memorable Korean BBQ in LA.
Would go again? Absolutely — especially for the dry-aged beef and unique dishes you don’t find everywhere.

Amazing Korean BBQ Experience!
Everything was absolutely perfect — the food was incredibly delicious, the service was excellent, and the interior was beautiful and stylish. There’s convenient parking with validation, and the area around is full of nice little shops, which makes it even more enjoyable to visit. Everything was comfortable, beautiful, and on the highest level. Highly recommend!

My favorite restaurant in Koreatown for a while now. The food quality and portion sizes are always on point, and the service is top notch. The staff makes sure your meat is cooked perfectly every time. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, and best of all your clothes don’t smell like meat afterward. Truly a gem.

Ordered dry aged rib eye and marinated Galbi (Korean BBQ). They use charcoal grill and the food grade is very good. Lunch menu is reasonably priced. Great place to go with family and special guests.

Great Korean BBQ place. Nice atmosphere and the food was great. Meat quality seemed very high (which is good given the restaurant is a bit pricy). Loved the 차돌박이 (thin sliced beef) and the 육회 (raw beef tartar), but all the other meat we tried (only had beef tonight) was also quite good. Would definitely come again – even though it’s very sad to see in what disastrous state Koreatown is with homeless people and encampments everywhere.

Had an amazing experience here to celebrate a special Cody. We ordered the Butchers Pride combo and it did not disappoint. It’s not a stretch to say this is the best meat I’ve had in years. The aged tenderloin and ribeye were incredible. Tender, flavorful, juicy, meaty. Wow. The sides were great as well. We also ordered the seafood pancake and that was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The service was impeccable and our server cooked the meat with incredible care and precision. We had a cake we’d brought and they were accommodating and helpful. Great atmosphere and ambiance as well. I honestly have nothing negative to seal. I can’t wait to return and eat here again.

The food was good, but the service from one staff member made the overall experience disappointing for the price point.
Basic items were brought to the table with no greeting or explanation, and when I asked for an extra sauce, the response from that staff member felt dismissive. Throughout the meal, our table wasn’t checked on, nothing was cleared, and we didn’t receive any assistance. The grill was also not managed properly, which affected the flow of the meal.
However, the staff member who helped us with the check was very kind, and the owner at the exit was warm and friendly.
It’s unfortunate that one person’s attitude overshadowed the food and atmosphere, leaving us with a less pleasant memory despite the restaurant’s potential.

Best meal ever, the beef melts in your mouth and the staff cook the meat just right for you. Get the butchers special and all the meat, and the side dishes are great too, delish seafood pancake, well worth the money for the food you get. A bit slow with the rice and water refill but totally understandable, superb service on the cooking and cook the seasoned short ribs just right. Ribeye ahhhh still dreaming about it.

Meat quality is really good. Similar to Mun if not higher. Service was top notch. The servers would cook everything. Perfect medium rare on most cut of beef. We loved the rib eye, aged prime rib, marinated galbi, and beef tongue. There are more cuts, in a range of prices, including tomahawks and dry aged prime rib. The assorted Banchans were delicious. Drinks price are reasonable. Korean beer is perfect for KBBQ. They also have Japanese whiskey highballs. Love the high ceiling and the smokeless charcoal grills. None of us come out smelling like we just had grilled meat. They have packaged fits for small to large group and a la cart menu. This is now a the the top of my LA KBBQ list.

Good tasting meat but way over priced for the quantity. The service is terrible and we didn’t get our water refilled even once.
