We love this restaurant and the owners! Friendly, always accommodating and always serving incredible food!
This time we had a savory waffle with maple syrup on the side. Fluffy waffle, sweet as ever then topped with crispy bacon and two perfectly fried eggs! The other dish was carnitas chilaquiles. Incredible flavor on both the carnitas cook and the crispy sautéed chips. Great flavors, just the right level of heat and again great fried eggs! See you soon

Small, unassuming restaurant in the corner of a shopping plaza with the most delicious, fresh foods! We came in for breakfast and we were not disappointed. My child enjoyed the homemade waffle which comes with fresh fruit and yogurt. My spouse ordered the breakfast bagel. I had the recommended chorizo chilaquiles which was flavorful with a bit of a kick! All very delicious! The staff were friendly. Overall, I wish we had come here before so I could have tried other menu items.

This was a real find and treasure! We heard about this place and tried it out on Saturday while in Flagstaff for the weekend. It was so amazing – we went back on Sunday! We had different dishes each day – and without a doubt – we’re going back to seek out more scrumptious delights on future trips to Flagstaff! The menu is amazing – and if you want, maximize your choices by going around 11:30AM to get both breakfast and lunch menus! Crazy-good – with the absolute BEST waffles we’ve EVER had (and we eat out a lot)!

We were so disappointed in this place. We were hoping for a great local diner for a meal before we left town. The taste of the food was fine – but nothing special. Portions were very small for the price (my tiny cup of beans was only half full!!!) and service was unfriendly to the point of bordering on rude. We are wishing we had just gone to Starbucks – it would have been a better experience at a lower price. Here we spent $50 for a measly breakfast sandwich and moderate breakfast burrito plus one cup of tea and one of coffee. Cannot recommend.

The waffles: so good! Crispy outside with a soft waffle inner and the taste… OH MY…Yeasty and delicious. Will be coming back for the waffles and chorizo chilaquiles. Seating area is small, can get crowded during peak eating hours.

A delicious locally owned spot to check out! We stopped by on a recent weekend trip to Flagstaff and the food was amazing. The wait times for the food were short, the restaurant felt welcoming and was clean, plus they feature art work on local artists on their walls. Pricing wasn’t bad, you can spend a similar amount at a fast food place and the food portions are just the right size.
Several of us ordered the Birria tacos, and man were they good! I like that they came with different sauces to dip them into and also came with some cut up onions if you want to add them. The breakfast bagel & breakfast burrito were also a big hit. A family member had also ordered the farm skillet which was bigger than expected. I’d stop by this spot again when in the area!

Oh man, let me tell you about this hidden gem in Flagstaff, it’s like if a waffle house hooked up with a taqueria and birthed a legend. After a long night of casamigos, I rolled in hungover and skeptical, but Miguel the store owner told me one bite of their Chorizo Waffle and BAM! It’s prime Michael Jordan on a breakfast plate. We’re talking ’88-‘93 MJ levels of dominance: crispy on the edges like his fadeaway jumper, spicy chorizo dropping flavor bombs like he’s dropping 63 on the Celtics in the playoffs, and that sweet-savory syrup drizzle sealing the deal like a game-winning dunk over Ewing.
This thing isn’t just food; it’s a performance. It elevates your morning from “meh, coffee please” to “I’m ready to conquer the world… or at least not nap until lunch.” The rest of the menu? Solid role players, eggs like Pippen, hash browns like Rodman on the boards, but the Chorizo Waffle is the GOAT. If breakfast had a Hall of Fame, this waffle gets its own wing.

The place a great for a nice breakfast which we had. Everything was cooked fresh and I would recommend this place for a good food. The menu might not be big what the taste and quality was not compromised for what they serve.

Stranded in Flagstaff and staying at a spot on Route 66. Madrez was the closet cafe, we walked up and noticed it was busy (but not too busy) we got our order placed and found a seat quickly. The food is made fresh and we enjoyed our meals. I had the Homemade Waffle with Seasonal Fruits.
The staff are well groomed and efficient, all in all it’s a popular place for a reason.
