First time at this Boiling Point location. I always like Seattle BPs compared to the Cali ones. This one might be an exception.

This location is a lot more busy than others for whatever reason. So the wait can get long. Service was really slow and inattentive.

I always get the curry fish ball. Food wise was ok. Seemed like portions were significantly smaller too.

Parking here is a huge pain during peak hours.

The special house hot pot was good and filling. The boba tea was great as well. Really enjoyed everything.

Ordered the Taiwanese Spicy hot soup which definitely kicked-started me from my sleepy head. ️ It has tofu, beef, noodles, a couple of mushrooms and other delicious ingredients in it. Definitely our go to hot soup place in a cold, gloomy and sleepy day.

the food is great id you like to sit at target waiting for a hole hour to eventually get the text that your table is ready. then get seated and hope that one of the people attends you eventually, then once they attend you youre hoping that theyre in a decent mood and dont give you sass or snap at you THEN the food finally comes a whole hour and fourty five mins after you put yoir name in the queue. and you better be paying for everyone because you cant split your bill. no one in this restaurant is going to split your bill so get your calculator out and ask everyone to zell/cash app you for their meal cause aparently they robot servers, tablets, computers or human servers cannot and will not split the bill for you. their beef soup is pretty good. 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ im still coming back

Finally got around to trying this place. It was a Wednesday evening at 5pm, Place was busy when we arrived and ended up waiting just over an hour to get a table. We sat down and ordered fairly quickly. Our food came out super quick. The spicy fermented tofu and the garlic pork belly were delicious. We had two beefs with no spiciness, which unfortunately was very bland and lacking flavor. The seafood and tofu with no spiciness was just okay and slightly bland. The Taiwanese spicy was delicious and super flavorful. So get at least the mild.

First time trying “hot pot”. The experience was very cool. Reminded me of Korean barbecue in a way. The soup is brought out over a fire with your soup, still boiling. It’s served with your choice of noodles or rice and at the table is a bunch of different sauces to create your own dipping sauce for your meats and veggies. if your soup gets too hot, you can ask for them to put out the fire. I got the Taiwanese spicy hot soup. It is only available at the hottest spice level. It was very good. Definitely has a nice kick to it. Reminds me of Szechuan spice it has a numbing feeling in the mouth and makes your nose run, but the flavors are very good. I also got the taro slush which I loved because they used real fresh taro instead of powdered stuff. my only complaint is they were packed. The waiting area is not even awaiting area. It’s just by the front door and everybody sits so close together in a tight space. It is very loud and overwhelming, but I would come again just for the food.

I stopped by Boiling Point during a short layover on my way back to Washington DC. With just a few hours to spare, I figured hot pot would hit the spot—and it did!

There was a bit of a wait since it was the weekend around dinner time, but it wasn’t too bad. The chilly weather made the warm, flavorful hot pot even more satisfying. I had the spicy Taiwanese beef hot pot and really enjoyed the depth of flavor and variety of ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion was just right for one person.

Service was friendly, though things were understandably a bit hectic with the dinner rush. Still, they managed to keep things moving and made sure we were taken care of.

Overall, a solid spot for solo hot pot or small group dining—especially on a cold day. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.

I order the beef soup with a side of fish cakes. I picked out all of the beef as it was really low quality meat. The scraps that you throw away when you trim meat was in this soup, fat and cartilage. $30.00 for this quality food is audacity.

Stepping into Boiling Point is like entering a culinary sanctuary, a place where the air hums with the promise of a truly satisfying meal. My destination, as always, is the Taiwanese Spicy Hot Pot, a dish that has captured my heart and my taste buds with its fiery, complex flavors.
The pot arrives, a steaming, bubbling cauldron of deliciousness. The broth, a deep, rich red, is a masterpiece of balance. It’s spicy, yes, but not in a way that overwhelms. Instead, it’s a slow, creeping heat that builds with each spoonful, a warmth that radiates from your core and leaves you feeling invigorated. This isn’t just chili oil; this is a symphony of aromatics—Sichuan peppercorns that deliver a subtle, mouth-numbing tingle, star anise that adds a hint of licorice, and a host of other spices that create a flavor profile so deep you could lose yourself in it.

But the broth is just the beginning. Submerged within its fiery depths are treasures waiting to be discovered. The thinly sliced cuts of marbled beef are tender and succulent, each piece absorbing the spicy broth and melting in your mouth. The fish balls and fried tofu skin are porous, little sponges that soak up the liquid gold, bursting with flavor with every bite. A medley of fresh vegetables—napa cabbage, mushrooms, and watercress—provide a crisp, refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the meat and broth. And of course, the indispensable cubes of blood rice cake and instant noodles are the perfect vessels for this incredible broth.

Boiling Point’s Taiwanese Spicy Hot Pot isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. It’s a journey through layers of flavor, a test of your spice tolerance, and a comforting embrace all at once. The customizable spice levels mean you can tailor the heat to your liking, but for me, the full-on spicy version is the only way to go. It’s a culinary masterpiece that I’ll continue to seek out, a dish that proves that a single pot can hold a world of flavor.

I do like Tukwila’s location. They’re always busy but they’re usually attentive, I never really have to wait for them to put the fire out of my hot pot soup.

I always get the milk cream curry soup. It’s my favorite. And come during lunch, before 3 so you can get your green tea with your soup. $20-$25.
