Always love going to the continental tavern. My favorites are the chicken salad sandwich and the Nashville chicken sandwich. All of their food is amazing though! I love the history behind this place. Dining outside is lovely too!

First time visit. We had great, helpful and attentive service by Taylor. The food was fine. The wings were the best thing we tried. The French onion soup and Caprese Chicken ( huge, generous portion) didn’t have a lot of flavor. We Came early (5:30) on a Friday night. We didn’t have a reservation but there were tables available in the bar, outside and upstairs. Next time I would make a reservation to be safe. It was nice to see so many friendly young people working here – bus boys and hostesses.

A great experience! Comforting, delicious bar food, but elevated and perfectly cooked! Fresh salads, gourmet burgers, expertly fried wings, and probably the best fish and chips we have ever had. It looked like it was going to be heavy and over-oiled, but it was so light and beautifully cripsy! I have already recommended this place to my friends, and we will definitely be coming back again!

Had dinner with friends on a Saturday night…reservations for 6. All the meals were good…a few different burgers, a Caesar salad, a flat bread, and bruschetta pasta, plus pretzel bites as an app for the table. Place was busy and upbeat….comfortable setting…service was excellent.

Sat on the porch during this beautiful evening and had dinner with my daughter. I like to judge a pub by its wings. The wings were very plump and I got the Dead Guy Hot Sauce as recommended by our waiter extradenaire, Aiden. Excellent wings! Had a very good Cuban sandwich with the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. My daughter loved her turkey burger and parm fries!

Parking can be difficult after 2000 on a weekend but in a safe neighborhood so walking around town isn’t problematic. Bar area table was not difficult to get, wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good, order got a little mixed up despite being only moderately busy. Easy fix. Great to see the owner come out to greet us, glad some places still do that!
Overall, good experience, will definitely go back, especially when they have live music.

Had the pleasure of going to Continental for the first time in about 3 years Friday night. Sat on the porch with my wife and ordered the ribs and she got a Korean chicken sandwich, both were outstanding the ribs fell right off the bone and the sauce was delicious! The portion was huge and the price was very reasonable. Big shout out to the waitress Melissa who is an outstanding waitress and I think she’s the barmaid too. Make a trip to go there you will not be sorry, lots of good beers too!

The Local Guide
I don’t give many 5 stars, but once in a while I come across a place that is a step above the rest. I ordered a Ruben with fries and a beer. The Ruben had the perfect toast crunch just the right amount of meat to dressing ratio. Great Ruben taste, the fries were as Crispy as you could get without over cooking. Not your normal French fries much better. The bar tender John was super nice, talking to him he is a retired police officer of 30 years and so nice to talk to. Food came out quick and hot. I’m glad I had a nice cold beer on hand. Not often do I interact with the owners, but they were present in the bar talking to customers. It’s nice to see hands on owners. Patty is one of the owners and turns out she volunteers at a local homeless shelter. How wonderful is that. Place is a old town pub and food is great, can’t wait to try other items.
