We had a wonderful evening at Ossobuco Coconut Grove. The atmosphere is stylish and intimate, with a relaxed but upscale vibe that makes it perfect for a special night out. The service from Aimer M was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed.
Aimer made excellent recommendations and made sure everything arrived perfectly timed. You can tell he really cares about the guest experience, and his professionalism elevated the whole meal.
The food was excellent, especially the grilled meats and appetizers, which are a highlight of the restaurant’s wood-fire cooking style.
Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be served by Aimer again.

The drinks were quite good as was the smoked pineapple and sorbet dessert. My husband had the short rib lettuce wraps which were delicious and brought excellent pickled veggies. My New York Strip was rather mid. Cooked nicely but lacking in flavor and cut. The potatoes were a flavorful side dish. I rather enjoyed the croquetas which pack a punch.
The service was not good. Our waitress was nice but it seems they’ve hired some additional staff for the holiday and it shows. I was served the wrong drink and, when I asked, was told it was what I ordered. So I asked the maitre d’ who was able to clarify and get me the right drink. The food was painfully slow to come out. They misdelivered 3 items. I’m sure this ultimately lead to us being mischarged to the tune of $259.
I hope this a one-off service issue but it was pretty annoying for our Valentine’s dinner.

️ Ossobuco Coconut Grove is a full-on wood-fired wonderland and I genuinely don’t understand why more people aren’t talking about it. The ambiance is warm, moody, and elevated in that effortless Grove way. Service was fine, but honestly… the food is the real headline.
Start with the Broccolini Jasper—that sauce underneath is dangerously addictive. The ossobuco croquetas? I could eat those all day without shame. The ricotta gnocchi was a pleasant surprise, soft and comforting in the best way.
For mains, we tried the tomahawk and the picanha—both solid, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. The truffle mac and cheese was a dream, with visible shavings of real truffle in the cheese (as it should be). And yes, the truffle fries were non-negotiable. The fall salad added a fresh, lighter moment to balance out all the indulgence.
But the true star of the entire night? The taro empanada. Oh. My. God. Unique, unexpected, and insanely delicious. I would come back for that alone.

Let me tell you… I walked by this restaurant before it opened multiple times and the name was like a Siren calling. Fast forward, we finally were able to experience this restaurant and it is… fireworks. The ambiance is lush and inviting, the music makes you move, the service is genuine and curated. Pedro was our server and he was extremely knowledgeable. The Tuna tartare was a game changer, so fresh and flavorful with little bite sizes cups of crunchy joy. The bone marrow ossobucco melted in my mouth. My son devoured the truffle Mac and cheese leaving nothing for us to even taste. Overall the experience was amazing and we are so glad to have found this gem in the Grove. We will be back, you can count on it.

I had such a great experience, our server was very attentive and kind. But the food was phenomenal. Everything was bursting with flavor. We started with the wild mushrooms. SO GOOD. The sauce was just amazing. Then we ordered a burger, skirt steak, and the ricotta gnocchi. The burger was so juicy and the cheese and onions melted in my mouth. The steak was cooked to perfection and had so much flavor. The gnocchis were different and were not our favorite out of the options we got, but I still enjoyed the unique taste of them.
