Underground Pizza in Baltimore is a must-try! The pizza here is absolutely incredible – the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the dough has the perfect crispy yet chewy texture. The SPO pizza was a standout, especially since it was a special – definitely worth trying! The Tiger King pizza was a unique twist on the classic, and it nailed the balance of flavors. Excellent casual, bar dining experience. We went for a late lunch. First time trying Detroit style pizza and we loved it! The crust was so crispy and the dough was perfectly done. I would def go for the crazier/non-traditional flavors next time, the neapolitan pizza was a little underwhelming compared to the mexicana and the tiger king, which were amazing! Highly recommend.

Underground Pizza, located in Baltimore, Maryland, is a great spot for deep dish pizza lovers. Our table ordered the pepperoni pizza and two of the 4-slice margherita options. I also tried the Caesar salad, which was fresh and flavorful.
The first two pizzas came out fairly quickly—within about 10–12 minutes—but the third one took noticeably longer, arriving after roughly 25 minutes. Despite the delay, the food was worth the wait.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with some really cool artwork decorating the space. Their beer selection was solid and reasonably priced, which added to the overall good vibes.
All in all, it was a great experience. I’d definitely recommend Underground Pizza if you’re in the mood for quality deep dish pizza in Baltimore.

Love this place so much. So many vegan options, it’s the perfect place for a group with mixed dietary preferences. There’s always a fun selection of cocktails. The vegan loaded fries are my all time favorite. I love trying the seasonal specials. I recently tried the vegan fall harvest pie and it was amazing. The delivery is also great – always arrives hot. I’ve eaten here easily over 20 times and will continue to be a return customer.

This restaurant is best accessed by the circular (orange route I think). Paid parking is expensive. But, the cricular, city bus, and metro get you there, so if you pay for parking, it’s your own fault.
I think this would be a good place to go after the aquarium or port discovery woth kids, especially when the whether is nice, because of the ample outdoor seating.

I tried Underground Pizza at Power Plant Live for the first time, and I’ve been coming back ever since! The whole atmosphere is so lively and fun — it’s truly one of the best spots in Baltimore to grab a bite and hang out.
Their Detroit-style pizza is absolutely amazing perfectly crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The wings are fire too! And the staff Logan, Evans, Jackie, Charlie, Katie, and Lena are all so friendly and welcoming. They make every visit even better.

Their pizza is usually immaculate, but the pie I had delivered tonight came without a drop of sauce on it. Huh?? How do you forget to put sauce on a PIZZA? I did not request this in my order notes. It’s so dry and bland without. Disappointing.

My family and I are in Baltimore for the weekend and we stopped at Underground Pizza Baltimore right after checking into our hotel. We loved the atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic. We ordered the Fried Chicken Sliders with a side of French Fries. The Sliders were very good but those fries were magical. Why can’t everyone make fries that good.
We also ordered 2 half orders of the pizza. We ordered plain and pepperoni. The pizza is thick and soft in the middle but with the crunchy outside. I’ve never had Detroit Style pizza before but this was really good. Definitely pizza you want to eat while consuming adult beverages because it is the perfect pairing.
For drinks we ordered Rootbeer and my kids got lemonade. They basically hand made the lemonade from mixes they had at the bar and the soda is Maine Root Soda which is fantastic.
The dinner made the start to our trip fantastic and tough to beat.

We love their super high chair for the kids.
The sampler is a nice dish to share, and the pizzas are all great! The crab one is amazing with sweet and spicy flavors, and the cheese steak is wonderful with heave cream cheese.
If you go with two, one pizza would be totally enough. For four people and several kids, I would recommend one half&half mix, and some appetizers!
