What a nice pub. Stopped in for a late dinner and was not disappointed. The broasted chicken dinner was amazing. Met the bar tender who has been slinging Guinness here for 33 years. Unfortunately I didnt get her name but she was lovely. Had a nice conversation with the owner as well. A really nice place with great food at a good price! Give them a try if youre in the area. You’ll like it…I guarantee it.

The waiter was very attentive. He was very knowledgeable of the menu. The food came in a timely manner. It was very fresh and hot. We enjoyed the spaghetti, meatballs and reuben rolls. We normally order the wings and pizza, which are the best, but my honey wanted spaghetti, and I wanted to try the ruben rolls. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing.

Food was basic. Had the lemon chicken which was good. My only question is what’s up with the Boxed mashed potatoes(see Photo)? Mashed potatoes definitely weren’t from a cut potatoes. They were powdered from a Box. Shame on you Fox.

Delicious tavern style! Love that cracker crust. My mom and I dine in as we like to smell the musty old carpet with our beer & pizza… trust me it just makes sense and feels like a warm hug on the south side.

The thin crust sausage pizza was excellent, it was seasoned perfectly not salty at all thank goodness!!!!
We had the chopped salad, rueben rolls, ribs and everything was great. Food has been absolutely delicious, no matter what we’ve had.

Ordered the ribs. They were outstanding. Included creamy coleslaw and crispy fries. I toped it off with an Arnold Palmer .

Pizza was not good. The cheese was overly thick and sliding off and the pasta sauce was watery.

So a large pizza pizza with half cheese n sausage is $36. I told the lady that the board showed 24.99 for large with 2.90 for extra topping. She said that its extra for cheese n sausage. This place isn’t for a family. I wont be buying at this place because I feel its a rip off.

I recently ordered a large pizza from Fox’s Pizza in Oak Lawn, and unfortunately, it was overcooked. The cheese was brown, and the crust was burnt. When I contacted the store, I was told a credit would be placed on my account since I lived too far away to return the pizza.

When I attempted to redeem that credit, I was informed that it was only $5 and that a full replacement pizza could not be provided unless the original pizza was returned. Both the associates and the manager, Susan, were very matter-of-fact and dismissive in their delivery, stating that the policy was either a $5 credit or a return for replacement.

I asked to speak with someone else and was told I would need to speak with Tom Fox, who was not available. When I asked when he would be in, Susan responded that he would be there “whenever he’s there” and advised me to call any day to check. I then asked if there was an email address to contact him, and I was told there was not. Eventually, I was advised to call back on Tuesday.

My main concern is not only the miscommunication regarding the credit, but also the dismissive tone used throughout the conversation. Had I been informed from the beginning that the credit would only be $5, I would have made other arrangements or accepted that resolution at the time.

I am a former Oak Lawn resident of 23 years, and Fox’s Pizza has always been a family favorite. However, this experience has left me questioning whether I will return. Clear communication, appropriate expectations, and quality customer service are essential, and unfortunately, this experience fell short in all three areas.
