First time trying Panera’s Creamy Tomato Soup in a sourdough bread bowl — and wow.

This was my first time ever trying Panera Bread’s creamy tomato soup, and I decided to go all in with the sourdough bread bowl. Best decision. The soup was rich, smooth, and comforting without being too heavy, and the sourdough added the perfect tangy, cozy balance.

Dipping the bread into the soup (and then eating the bowl itself) made the whole experience feel extra comforting and satisfying. It’s definitely one of those meals that feels warm, nostalgic, and perfect for a chill day.

I came in as a reasonable man seeking a cinnamon bagel swap.
I left a changed person.

The kiosk said no.
The cashier said no.
Reality itself said no.

I HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE.
At THIS LOCATION.
In THIS LIFETIME.

Somewhere, a policy was changed. A line was crossed. Cinnamon was gatekept. Hollandaise was forbidden from its destiny.

This wasn’t about breakfast.
This was about hope.

Panera has fallen. The systems are broken. Let future generations know: it used to be better.

Edit:

The saga continues

We went back. They did it. They did the cinnamon crunch bagel swap.

We found an employee who was willing to take a stand against the panera empire, a rebel from within. There is hope yet for this location. (4/5)

Pick another location for catering! I’ve never had an issue with a regular order aside from the increasing prices but this is my 2nd solid day of catering mishaps- definitely going to another location for catering.

Day 1- I had to wait an additional 12 minutes for 1 sand which. The nice lady at the counter advised catering stepped out and that she would prepare the sandwich. I asked why it wasn’t ready by the 7:15-7:30 time I selected, she advised it was because they didn’t think I wanted it cold, to which I responded I would prefer a cold sandwich I can reheat over waiting 12 minutes when I’m on a time crunch.

Day 2- I got a smaller order and left out the sandwich just stuck to catering that could be prepared. I ordered cookies for their morning beak and got burnt crispy bits. I called to make them aware and see what my options were and was told “well sometimes when it comes out of the oven it’s still cooking ” and while I totally understand how baking works I don’t understand why these were put in my order and not remade. They’re completely inedible. Thankfully someone is remaking and bringing them but this is exactly the stress I don’t need going into leadership week.

Pros: both days I was offered help to my car, and the person checking me in to bring me the catering bags was super friendly.

They give plenty of utensils!

Free delivery over $25 with an account.

But again… it’s just not worth the headache for over priced bagels & subpar coffee.

I love this place and sadly it was very disappointing my food was not good at all
My bread was hard as rock and Mac and cheese was dry and not as creamy as it should be and when I said something about it I was spoke to like it was my fault and that they would only replace the Mac and cheese and that’s what I ordered so thats fine but she didn’t need to be rude
Taylor is the manager i spoke too
And the restaurant needs a serious cleaning

I love Panera, so much that I joined their unlimited sip club for a year. Large selection of Barista beverages, specialty cold drinks as well as regular coffee, teas and cold serve-yourself sodas etc and iced teas. The sandwiches are great, soups too, and in addition to the ‘pick-two’ meal suggestions, they also have some $6.99 meals available, like tuna salad or grilled cheese sandwich with cup of tomato soup, etc. The desserts are great, but I’ve found that, if you want a good selection of bagels, don’t go too late – they sell out in the afternoon. I’m a bagel person so I pay attention to this. There is no drive-through here – the store is on the corner in a shopping mall strip.

I ordered a tuna salad sandwich and got the chicken salad instead. I’ll give the benefit of the doubt as it was close to closing time + the tuna salad and chicken are easy to mix up. Still, I felt disappointed, especially because I used a reward on this order, which ended up feeling wasted. 🙁

Oh my gosh…my husband went to use the restroom and he was ready to walk out. Don’t you people ever clean your restrooms???? What a mess! Makes me wonder how safe our food is on your kitchen area. We will visit you one more time and if there is not a very clean bathroom we will never eat there again and will tell all our friends not to eat there too.

Ordered through uber eats and spent over $50 juts to receive our food and everything was wrong. Ordered a chicken ceaser salad and received no chicken. Was missing a entire sandwich and a bowl of soup. Definitely won’t waste our money again.

Nice place for some sandwiches and coffee ☕️

I liked the duet of half sandwich and soup and was surprised by amount of coffee I was served compared to the price.

Was looking for electric plug for my laptop and they have available in various corners which is good if you’re looking for a place to work outside of home…
