My husband and I stopped here for breakfast based on a recommendation by a local. The service was friendly but once the waitress dropped off our food, we didn’t see her again. I ordered my eggs over hard and they were runny in the middle. The pancakes tasted okay but were a little dry. The experience is what I would expect from an average diner. The atmosphere was charming with its classic diner decor.

Look at the pic. Supposed to be scrambled eggs, pork roll, home fries, and such English muffin. Eggs were flat and dry; not fluffy and moist. Homecfriescwere hash browns, which ard totally different for me. Pork well was decent and properly cooked; meaning, suits were around the edge to allow it to cook flat instead of curled. The English muffin was toasted well, but lathered with margerine; I asked if they have butter and was told there was none in the house. It was a very oily margarine. My wife’s eggs Benedict were ok, but lackluster. She did not like the greasy hash browns instead of home fries. We asked the server and she said that those potatoes are their version of home fries and my eggs were prepared as they prepare scrambled eggs.
Service was very basic; polite but not engaging or welcoming.
One side of the restaurant was closed for work. We sat in the right side dining area. The carpeted floor was very dirty with paper and crumbs and such; get a vacuum. The single plastic menu literally stuck to the table; we felt it was sticky.
Bottom line…I get a better scrambled egg breakfast from Mickey D’s and it’s a lot less than $30 with the tip. I have no problem with the price if the place red was clean, basic scrambled eggs prepared properly, and served with a smile. I am local to the area and was giving the place another try. Oh well.

We went after going hunting on a Saturday late morning (lunch time) and it was a little busy. We were seated quickly, but our waitress was a little prickly. We laughed about it, but it stood out to us. There homemade chicken noodle soup was YUM. My husband and his friend had the Ruben and it is apparently open faced? It didn’t have that in the menu, but they said it was delicious. My son got chicken fingers and fries. The amount of chicken was worth it. And the fries were very delightful with a light crunch. (I didn’t even break out the ketschup!)
Over all good experience. Felt squished in the booth, the waitress seems prickly and stressed (we all get that way though). We would eat here again.

The food was good. Portions were huge. Had wonderful fries . The atmosphere was good but had sections with different decor. We were seated far from entertainment. Our server forgot what kind of soup I ordered and that I asked for onion rings. He brought them and did not charge for them. Was very apologetic!

After taking my mother to a doctor’s appointment she wanted to stop for lunch. It took a while to be seated because the hostess was not there; however once seated, our waitress was wonderful. Our food was good, our issue was it was so cold inside the restaurant we had to wear our coats and were still cold. We were not the only ones. When we mentioned it to our waitress, she replied saying that’s how the owners keep it and they are not allowed to change it. I know utilities are expensive but customers should not have to wear their coats while trying to enjoy their meal.

We stopped here on our way home from a vacation in Ocean City. We were tired of fast food and we were excited to see the diner. The staff was very very kind and helpful, however, the food was not at all good.
The lasagna had a thick layer of cheese on top that my husband choked on twice before removing it all from the top. There was almost no meat and the noodles were undercooked. The hamburger came with two excellent thick slices of tomato that hid a horrible piece of lettuce that was brown and wilted across 50% of it. The hamburger was well done- not as requested. I was not expecting a diner to be able to cook a hamburger a-la-cart, but our server asked me! The kids shared chicken tenders, which was cheaper when staring an adult meal than getting 2 childrens meals but it was good at least! Except for the decorative lettuce under the chicken which was also brown. Salad bar was great, and my favorite thing was the potato salad!

The food was good but the servings were too large. My meal was a chicken philly, french fries and a cup of chicken noodle soups. I thought that was weird.

Food and service is impeccable. I ordered the beef liver and the portion is great. My kids devoured the chicken nuggets. My wife got the chicken corden blue sandwich and loved it. The price wasn’t bad either for what you get at all. Definitely will make this our stop coming back from Ocean City from now on.

Best thing I can say is portion sizes are huge. You will not leave hungry. The meal is okay but plenty. This is the corned beef hash breakfast.
