The food was passable. The fries were sad and tasted like old grease. The coleslaw was good but my cup was half full. They sold me a large soda and then filled it up with ice. Wasn’t worth the $3 they charged me for it. I’ll definitely try another location but it was the big “C” grade on the front door that had me questioning everything before I even started.

Been 3 times, food was absolutely delicious, until my last visit I saw they have a huge roach infestation . Not a roach problem but a infestation. Saw atleast 4 or 5 crawling on walls, workers causally kept working. It’s a no for me.

Zestos is the best for those that KNOW…GOOD…FOOD! Great atmosphere, great food, cool old school spot for those that KNOW THE CULTURE of SOUL FOOD from ROUND DA WAY…..Let’s GET IT…. LOL ! I got the chicken 4 piece dinner, 3 legs and a thigh with bun and “COLESLAW” with onion rings! This is the best COMBO I’ve had yet where everything was great! The chicken is hands down top 3 and the onion rings are the best I’ve had period the coleslaw is in a lane of its own! Definitely not putting on…..I dare you to challenge another spot as official and for the price and GRIT ATMOSPHERE LOL…..this place isnt for the weak!!!

The service was great, everyone was very welcoming and nice. But the chicken and the fries just weren’t as good as other Zestos locations I’ve been too. I live closest to the Triangle City location, and it’s always consistently tasty. The Forest Drive location had the same quality as TC, even though the fries were different, they were equally as good. But Angelo’s just isn’t the same. And I’ve been there in the past with no complaints.. but this visit, I was disappointed in what I received.

I have only tried the fried chicken. It is really good without being overly salty. The employees are very nice. The appearance of the restaurant will throw you off. It’s a real hole in the wall….
