The staff was extremely accommodating to a group of 7 and got us a reservation with less than an hour. The bar was quiet, and the drinks were amazing! You can taste the alcohol, which is a plus.
The ambiance was calm and social. It was loud, but we were able to have a conversation with the people we came with.
I gave the food four stars (would even choose 3.5) because I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse. I didn’t like the taste of the filet mignon. It was an odd flavor, and I like simple butter, salt and pepper. The grilled vegetables came last, which was abnormal for us. We’ve always gotten the meat last.
The other disappointing aspect was the dipping sauce. I didn’t like either of those sauces, and I always look forward to both.
You pay an additional $4 for each person if you get chicken fried rice, which seems expensive when every person at the table gets chicken fried rice.
The soup was a little flavorless, but the sushi was very good. I recommend raw sushi, not cooked because then it takes longer.
Overall, I recommend if you want sushi, hibachi steak, and a fire show in front of your eyes. Beautiful inside as well.

My wife and I enjoyed lunch at Kobe, a Japanese Teppanyaki and sushi restaurant located in Tempe. The restaurant is beautiful inside, we especially liked the beautiful artwork and etched glass throughout the restaurant. We chose the Teppanyaki side and made our selections awaiting our skilled chef to preform. We always enjoy the precision knife work, and the skillful artistry of chefs who prepare your meal right before your eyes. We really enjoyed the experience the Teppan-Yaki- lunch New York steak and shrimp combination with Hibachi vegetables $23.99 was delicious I added chicken fried rice for $4.00 upcharge. We plan to return to give sushi lunch a try which looks delicious as well.

Food was yummy, but was so disappointed in the service! The chef had zero interaction with our group. No flames, no food tossing, no sake, no talking, nothing. Just cooked our food and served us our portions.

Wasn’t our first option to choose, but other places were busy. Restaurant has a bad stench. Food was good but not the greatest. I came with my kids and mother. Somehow got charged for “vegetable” fried rice and “chicken” X4 when didn’t have any chicken or “vegetable” fried rice. We just asked for an extra plate of FRIED RICE. But our waiter seemed very dismissive and not informative of plate sizes. Which I asked at the beginning. Cos my kiddos share plates most of the time, due to not eating their food all. Wasn’t looking to spend $200 as well but I felt cheated out of my money here.

Great for dinner with entertainment. A fun place for celebration or events or just yummy food. Ordered NY strip but like the flavor for the filet mignon and scallops better. Their chicken fried rice is highly recommended for the upgrade. We also ordered a dragon roll, it’s great but pricey and I do think you can get a better sushi roll somewhere else. Bravo for the chef tho.

This was the best restaurant I actually love how this guy came out to me and he was like conversation with me and was talking to me about the fish tank and stuff. I thought that was really nice of him to come by and talk. I wasn’t expecting that actually made my day so much and I really do like how The waiter was he’s very sweet and actually like I’m very much. I know this is not something I would say on the right but I honestly love it especially the restaurant I’ve ever sell if you guys are so sweet you guys serve really well. You guys come on time and my name is Asha. I’m the girl that came there to the restaurant when I had a birthday party for my auntie Auntie had a birthday party so we know we have we Where we had our dinner at but yeah, we were the ones who were sitting there and we had eliminated all the other stuff but I’m really happy. I met somebody he was really tiny and he’s actually all his Aura is he’s very magnetic. Yeah, by the way like I said, my name is Asha.
