We had such a great experience here! The hospitality was top-notch—everyone was welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in. Our food came out quickly and everything was fresh and flavorful. The chicken strips looked and tasted homemade—crispy and tender. We started with the potato skin appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. And the Mexican Candy Margarita? So refreshing with just the right kick. Definitely a spot we recommend!

Food. Is. Awesome. We came here for the first time after another BBQ place nearby ran out of their brisket. So glad we came here. Atmosphere was cozy and our server Loran was so attentive and took care of us well! Angus brisket was bomb, cheddar meatloaf was tasty, baked beans yummy, and the cornbread tasted homemade. We’ll be back Dixie, we’ll be back.

The vibes and atmosphere here were great, it was quiet and comfortable, and the service was excellent. Their sweet tea is the best I have had on island and reminded me of Texas sweet tea. Unfortunately, the food did not match the experience. I had the crab leg starter and chicken fried steak, both of which were bland, and the meal ended up giving me food poisoning. I really wanted to like this place, but I probably will not be returning.

The Frickles were perfectly crisp and delish! Service was wonderful.
Moist and tender pulled pork did not need sauce, but I loved trying all six options that were house-made. Texas-style was my fav. The slaw was crunchy and perfectly dresses. NOT soggy. The green beens were cooked to perfection. Great lunch experience in Honolulu!

So, Oahu may not be the best place for mainland BBQ but we thought we would try it out. The ribs were tender as was the brisket. The sausage was just ok and I did not think anything had enough smoke flavor. The sides were just ok but I have found that most BBQ places slip on the sides. The beer was cold and their house label sauces are some of the best we have had. The server was attentive and fast.

Just ate here for the first time with my husband and son last night. The food was delicious. I got the fried catfish that was fried to perfection and delicately flakey. My husband got the brisket and pulled pork which were both so tender and flavorful. He especially had fun trying all the different barbecue sauces with his meats. The atmosphere is great, wish more places had play areas for little kids. Such a laid back environment. Made me really miss Texas. We already can’t wait to come back and try something new!

Never knew about this restaurant & bar. Got an appointment next door so I came in to grab lunch.
I miss the good old American BBQ so I gave it a try. It was noisy because there was about 3-4 party groups. Not sure how busy this restaurant is during regular lunch time but it’s busy! However, the food came out pretty quick assuming everything has been cooked because it’s BBQ.
I had the 3 meat choice: brisket, turkey, and sausage. The brisket is pretty tender and tasty as I expected. The turkey is a little dried to me it was okay. The sausage is good but not something that is unique or “wow” me.
The 2 sides I chose were: fries and beans. Fries was awesome and so good!!! Love the seasonings. The baked beans were too sweet for me although I am kind of a sweet tooth person. It has sweet pepers as well. Not to my likings.
I tried all the sauces and I prefer the Hawaiian and Kansas City sauces.
Service was great although it was very busy and noisy.
Parking is plenty.
They also have a bar with great selection.
