I ordered a large caramel frappe, and which I do this every day for McDonald’s but normally I go to the one in Fleming Island, which I always have great service from by the way, particularly the last two days I have been going to the McDonald’s and Green Cove Springs and which I received this caramel frappe This is all the caramel drizzle that they give you when I asked her if I could have a little bit more caramel than what was on there because I’ve never received a caramel frappe that had this little caramel. The lady told me that that’s all the caramel I get unless I was going to pay extra And proceeded to shut the window. The lady was very nasty very rude. She was the same lady that was on the Mic She has no mannerism and is the manager. I will not be spending my money at McDonald’s in Green Cove Springs ever again. I never leave Google reviews, but today with the distasteful attitude, this young lady exhibited as a manager the face of the store. I was very disgusted. In case a general manager decides to review this this was the morning Of October 29, 2025 and my order ticket says 10:32 AM. She was the one making the frappe’s by the way. This young lady has a very miserable persona and it is not good to have someone working in customer service who is discussing to the clients. I am a currently disabled veteran who has served this country, and I deserve to be respected as well as anybody else who comes through the drive-through you have no idea who you are entertaining. The Bible speaks about being conscious of how you entertain because you may be entertaining Angels unaware and although I am not an angel, I am someone who deserves to be respected and so is everyone else this is not just about the caramel drizzle that was placed on my frappe this is about the way. A young lady spoke to a customer Who keeps McDonald’s in service and I am 100% sure that I am not the only one who has received this despicable mannerism from this young lady her attitude was completely disgusting. She had no regard for her mannerism and blatantly Showed that. I hope that someone who is able to do something about it, reads this message and understands the importance of customer service.

Routinely visit this location and have noticed that the front counter is neglected. Ordering from the Kiosk or app is the only realistic option and even then the food takes 10 minutes and sometimes, while the drive thru operates like a well oiled machine. Service is friendly but the front counter is a real problem. Might as well put two more kiosks in place if the 2 cash registers or more shelves for the pick up orders. Maybe those new kiosks will actually print a receipt and always work and accept cashless payment. A common issue with the others. Always have good luck with the drive thru here and friendly service. Hit or miss on fresh fries as is the case at most locations. This location happens to be coni for me but unfortunately I will most likely limit my visits to only include the drive thru. No secret that if drive thru lines get too long the people will continue driving right past the store so it’s gets priority, while the customers that go inside are neglected.

I am beyond disappointed and honestly shocked at how far this McDonald’s has fallen. What was once my go-to location has turned into a complete circus in the span of just two weeks.
I placed my order at the kiosk and then waited an absolutely unacceptable 20+ minutes for food that should take minutes. During this time, the front counter employee did not acknowledge a SINGLE customer for at least 10 minutes. Instead, he chose to openly flirt with a female customer and socialize with friends who were there for job interviews. It was painfully obvious that customer service was not a priority whatsoever.
When I finally received my order, the food was an embarrassment. Stale fries, cold sandwiches, and cold nuggets for my children. If I’m paying these prices, the absolute bare minimum expectation is HOT, edible food — which clearly could not be met.
This location is being severely mismanaged, and it shows. Between the lack of professionalism, blatant disregard for customers, and unacceptable food quality, this was one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I will not be returning to this location unless there is a major change in staffing, management, and accountability. Corporate should be deeply concerned, because this store is actively driving customers away.

Came in tonight and ordered to pay with cash at one of the kiosks. Sat there for a few minutes, watched the order right before mine get served. Figured mine was coming and called someone to chitchat. 30 minutes later, I was still waiting on my order. Come to find out, somebody cleared out my order without confirming I had left. Since this has happened the last two times I was in there, I left without getting food and went to Hardee’s. Had my food in less than 15 minutes, and it was awesome. Thanks Hardee’s!

This location is a total disaster and a textbook example of what happens when management completely fails.
I waited forever for a basic breakfast order. No urgency, no organization, no leadership—just employees standing around while orders piled up. McDonald’s is supposed to be fast, but this place couldn’t manage that if it tried.
When the food finally came out, it was disgusting. The egg was green. Not “a little off,” not questionable—green. At that point I felt like I walked into a Dr. Seuss book: I would not eat this egg here or there. I would not eat it anywhere. Except this isn’t a children’s story—it’s a serious food safety issue.
The English muffin was stale and hard, like it had been sitting out all day. Completely inedible.
This isn’t a bad day or a one-time mistake—this is what poor leadership looks like. If the franchise owner or corporate ever checks reviews, they should be asking why the general manager is allowing green eggs, stale food, and endless wait times to represent their brand.
I won’t be back, and I strongly suggest others think twice.

Today I went to McDonalds in Green Cove Springs. I ordered a quarter pounder. The quarter pounder patty was larger than the bun and flat with the edges crispy. I went to the counter and spoke with an associate and asked if they changed their Quarter Pounder and he said they hadn’t. The manager was there too, and I asked her and she said they haven’t changed the quarter pounder. I said that the quarter pounder I have is flat and was bigger than the bun, which I’ve never had before. She again said that was their quarter pounder. It was the worst quarter pounder I’ve ever had – flat and overdone like a smash burger. I didn’t want a smash burger!!! All I can think of is the cook smashed the living daylight out of the quarter pounder paddy. I have friends that have complained about their local McDonalds and sworn not to ever frequent a McDonalds again! However, I bragged on our McDonalds here in Green Cove Springs and that I’ve always have had great and personal service and quality cooked food. I can’t say that anymore. Terrible burger today!!! Not worth the $$$!

Had a delicious Double Quarter Pounder today from the GCS Mc D’s it was worthy of a picture.. I have always been very impressed with the customer service and delicious food. Actual pride in the making of their food.

Waited in line for 10 minutes after taking my order and there is no movement in the line so I just decided to leave. I’ve never been to a McDonald’s where it was that slow. Whoever is managing this place needs to get their stuff together.

It was my first time at a McDonald’s in Green Cove Springs, and the service was amazing. A kind employee checked on us more than once to see if we needed anything, and the service was fast and very satisfying. Everything was a 10/10.
