This restaurant/bar & grill is… okay. The chicken strips were decent but nothing memorable, while the tater tots were actually pretty good and easily the highlight of the meal. Service, however, was excellent — friendly, attentive, and by far the strongest part of the experience. Overall, it’s not a bad place if you keep your expectations low and just want a casual bite and a drink. There’s potential here, but for now it’s more average than impressive.

Stopped in at the Broken Anchor Bar and Grill while on vacation in Bandon, and I’m glad I did. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries — everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. The burger had just the right amount of crispy bacon and melted cheddar, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Great spot for a casual meal, and I’d definitely eat here again next time I’m in town!

The atmosphere was OK especially for a small town. It was pretty busy on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the Jalapeño Peanut Butter Bacon Burger, Mac Burger, and Fish Tacos. The jalapeño burger did not live up to all the hype. Too much peanut butter. The Mac Burger was actually my favorite. The tacos were good but standard. The worst part was the burger patties were awful. They were ultra processed and reminded me more of a veggie burger than a true hamburger. The service left much to be desired as well. I will not be going back. DO NOT use the restroom! They were disgusting!

Food was actually decent. Great portions. We had the Keto Tacos and the The jalapeno egg rolls. The egg rolls are good especially if you like lots of cream cheese. The dipping sauce they serve with it is epic! Service was slow and the waiter overcharged us but fixed it once we pointed it out so no harm. Just wish they had more staff to help out really.

This restaurant is under new ownership. The sports bar aspect is good for locals. The service was good, but the clam chowder was more like mashed potato good, and the fried oysters were very heavy on the batter, overcooked and light on the oysters. The taco special was ok.
