What a hidden gem… was about to go to different restaurant when walked past this and stopped… I am so glad we did… the food was amazing, delicious and everything was cooked perfectly…. Normally you get back food at these places BUT not here… it was tender and fresh.. they gave you large portions to eat.. service was fast and quick… even though it was busy I highly recommend you check it out..

I love the comfort of this restaurant, and having your dish cooked in front of you is the best. The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes to eat. We arrived first and had to wait an hour until more people arrived and the table was full before they could start cooking the food. The chef started cooking for the people who arrived after us and ended up cooking for us. We had to eat quickly because we had movie tickets, and the movie was about to start. That was the only thing I didn’t like, but overall, everything was good.

An Unforgettable Hibachi Experience!
Our family had an absolutely incredible time at Mt. Fuji Hibachi! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The chefs put on an amazing show, full of energy, skill, and fun interactions that had everyone—kids and adults alike—completely entertained. The knife tricks, flaming onion volcano, and playful cooking techniques made it more than just a meal; it was a performance!
The food itself was phenomenal. The shrimp, lobster, steak, and chicken were cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. And let’s talk about the fried rice… hands down the best we’ve ever had! Every bite was packed with that rich, savory goodness that you can only find at a top-tier hibachi spot.
Despite our large party of 24, the staff handled everything seamlessly. They were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of and had a fantastic time.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with delicious food and a fun atmosphere, Mt. Fuji Hibachi is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back!

Our office recently went to Mt. Fuji and it was great! The service was fast and friendly, the food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was clean. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but our entire experience from start to finish was amazing. It’s a great place for a small office gathering. We went early in the evening on a Thursday, and it probably helped that they weren’t super busy at that time. The wine list was small (which was expected), but had quality wines. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming to Mr. Fuji Hibachi since their old Westminster location, and this place is nothing like it used to be. The food, service, and cleanliness have gone completely downhill.
Our cook was so rude (the one in the picture), confrontational, and rushed the entire experience. There was serious cross-contamination, he used dirty utensils and scooped Diablo sauce between different customers’ bowls that people had already eaten from. Completely unacceptable.
Everyone’s rice came out hard as a rock, so he had to redo it. While he went back to the kitchen to argue about the rice, the salmon and steaks were left overcooking, so forget about getting medium steak or properly cooked salmon. It was total chaos.
The restaurant itself was filthy, so much grease on the floor that chairs literally slid when you moved. Ownership clearly does not care anymore; it’s all about rushing people out and collecting money.
There are only two cooks worth mentioning: Miguel, and another oriental cook who is friendly, engaging, and actually knows what he’s doing. Unfortunately, the rest have no business working with customers.

The food was good! Our chef was amazing! We had pretty good food portions for the price! The saki was also really good. The atmosphere is where this place loses points. It’s very lackluster, seating is fairly crowded, and there are no vents above the grills. So, beware of the flames! This place is like a dive bar of hibachi; which is probably why the portions are so good.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was important to share. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we were asked to wait for more people to arrive before being allowed to order, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.
We were seated at an awkward, inconvenient table because we weren’t considered a “larger party,” and once it became clear that we were uncomfortable, the host and server sat directly in front of us and spoke about us, which felt unprofessional and passive-aggressive.
Overall, the service and performance from both the host and server fell short of expectations. We were really looking forward to the hibachi experience, but unfortunately it did not live up to what we anticipated.

I called to make a reservation. The girl on the phone was low energy and kinda snotty. At the end of the call I said thank you and she just hung up on me. I was planning to go to this restaurant to celebrate my mom’s birthday who died last year but we will not be going there now based on one short phone call. Train your people! Look at all of these horrible reviews! Dirty restaurant, dirty bathrooms, employees sitting around and one even sleeping! And bad reviews about the hostesses which is probably who took my call!

Had a great time! We had a party of 12 that I made a reservation for only a week prior. We only had to wait for the table about 10 mins before we were sat. Other than our server being hard to understand (language barrier) the service was great! We had the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice and 10 out of 12 had the same as well. Food came out fast, our chef was fun to watch, the portions were excellent and I never had to ask for a refill. Only thing I wish that would have been better is that it was uncomfortablely hot in there. The ventilation isn’t great. But people complaining about the wait?? If you made a reservation you wouldn’t have that problem. We will definitely be back again!
