Yesterday my daughter ordered some tamales from here and had them delivered to her job. She told me all about her experience from placing the order and receiving them, she said everyone she spoke to was very helpful and patient with her and that is was a great customer service experience. As far as flavor they are pretty good the red ones are not scipy at all but very flavorful. The green ones are a bit spicy and very good as well as the strawberry ones which I really liked. In conclusion I definitely will oder from there and definitely will recommend as well.

These were the best tamales I’ve had in a very long time from a restaurant. The pork in red sauce and the chicken in green sauce are excellent. The meat was lean and abundant and the masa was very moist. The green ones are a little spicy.

I believe this restaurant is new, I’m only giving my feedback so they can improve on it as a business. The young lady that took my order gave great customer service it seems as a family-owned restaurant. Tamales were delicious, they were spicy, they were and decent size. Where my criticism comes in is on the dinners I had a taco dinner and a asada dinner which also tacos were asada. The asada dinner cane with rice and beans. Wich is alright but no tortilla, bell peppers and onions normally that kind of dinner has included. The taco asada dinner only came with two tacos rice and beans. The meat had a burnt bitter smell and taste which also on the other dinner had the same flavor. The beans were much more saltier than average beans served in a Mexican restaurant. Overall the tamales were the best of my entire order I would go back just for those.

Nice little hole in the wall place on Clark. 7 bucks for two Chicago dogs, fries and a drink, lots of seating, fast, friendly cooks, bilingual too… I would trade in 10 hyper experimental kitschy food joints for one of these places every few blocks. They’re reliable, fairly-priced and you know what you’re getting in terms of food quality. I’ll have to try the tacos next time.

So me and my wife decided to try this place out yesterday for our first time we had the pork tamales the and they were good the but unfortunately customer service was kind of rude didn’t greet me the right way was just rushing me to order my food and leave this was on 11/13/21 it was a lady mid 30s i’ll say be a little nicer to your customers if you would like them to come back!

These place is SO good!! Everything was super fresh and amazing! They even added in some hot chicken noodle soup for us for free! After all of that snow the past couple of days it was much needed.
My friend had the steak burrito and omg is was the best burrito we’ve ever had in Rogers Park! All of the ingredients tasted so good together and the burrito was huge! And nothing fell apart, seriously just perfect! Not soggy or anything.
I had two steak tacos, 1 green pork tamale, and 1 red pork tamale. The steak tacos were great! And I liked the red pork tamale more but both were really good! Also they gave us a bunch of salsa too! Definitely coming back!

We have eaten here twice this weekend. I was so impressed with their fruit tamales (which are unfortunately their only vegetarian tamales). Their veg taco and burrito are great! They have this incredible hot guava drink that was like a dessert. It is going to be my go to fall/winter/spring drink!

My wife and I went today to eat tamales and burritos and we both were fascinated by the quality of the food. We went around 10am and the tamales were very fresh, the green chicken were yummy and so were the pork red. My wife tried their rajas and red chicken and she says that they were cooked well and the flavor was perfect. We also ordered a burrito de asada and a chicken taco , the meat was done and prepared very well I’m impressed! The asada was fresh and so was the chicken, they grilled it and cut it up very neatly. I recommend this restaurant, you won’t regret it:)

I ordered 13 dozen tamales for an event. The week of the event we called to confirm the pick up time since they had charged me already for the tamales. No one ever picked up the phone, the store was closed when we showed up to pick up and we were officially out $350 (which was over charged ). Do not trust this place.
