On Tuesday, November 25th, 2025 at around 9:15PM or so, while on a job I stopped here to get food. My passenger wanted a corned beef sandwich, I wanted a *large* chili cheese fry, which is what I specifically ordered.
It admittedly took a moment (under 2 minutes) to order, with no one in front of or behind us because the menu options were not clearly visible nor was the attendant helpful when asked for clarification on menu options – from the start her attitude was downright nasty and unhelpful.
We were charged nearly $25 dollars for a simple sandwich and a large order of fries, but we were given a small instead. When we requested a ranch for the sandwich we were charged an additional $1, but the attitude was equally nasty.
When I returned to notify them of the error after seeing my passenger off, not only was I met with the same attitude, I was told I “wasn’t charged” for a large fry despite clearly asking for and confirming it.
Then I was told a *small* order of fries cost *$7*, and the sandwich was $13 with the same annoyed attitude.
To be clear, I am not specifically complaining about the price, even if I feel it was excessive for what was ordered – as someone who has worked in the food service industry since 2000, I have issues with the customer service.
Not only would I have not paid that price for a sandwich and a small fry, figuring the sandwich $12-13 & the fries as ordered $10, my total shouldn’t have been more than $24 *when I repeated my order* and it was repeated back to me.
Not only does it feel like I was charged incorrectly and the waitress pocketed the difference, her *attitude* from start to finish was so terrible initially that my passenger noted it and was equally combative & indignant when I returned, I am completely uninterested in patronizing this location ever again.
This is the closest Coney Island style restaurant to me, I have spent hundreds here over the last 5 years alone and I will never spend another dime here just because of my experience tonight – take from this review what you will.

This food was sloppy and horrible, lettuce was gross on my food, fries was soggy, and overall I would never come back to this coney ever island. Customer Service was vague and even the fountain drink was nasty taste like they haven’t cleaned out the machine either

I ordered two conies with mustard and ketchup only. When I got them home it only had mustard and ketchup packs. I also ordered two Coney’s with cheese slices and grilled onions only, they put half a slice of cheese on each conie and no onions.

I’m so disappointed that I drove 25 mins to get what use to be some coney wing dings from a place I use to love. At least 3 of my 11 1/2 wing dings looks like freezer burn on them and 1 is a piece of a wing ding. They’re smaller than they use to be also. I have a mixture of tiny and good size wing dings. Extremely disappointed

I went to get a corn beef sandwich deluxe and a corn beef sandwich by its self together that came up to 41 dollars I called up there to see how much was the corn beef sandwich by its self with cheese the lady said 13 dollars I was trying to ask more questions she hung up in my face.. there prices are way to high. I don’t under stand how a cheese burger and cheaper then a corn beef sandwich when they should be about the same price.
