Bland beef and lame lettuce caused this to be a very disappointing fast food stop. Cool fries did not help very much. I wish I had gone to Wendy’s across the street. The staff was definitely friendly, that apparently just did not translate into making good food.

I have to change my review because they changed the lettuce wrap. They now only put one small piece of lettuce on each side. This is disappointing. The very thing that impressed me is what they changed. It makes me sorry that I gave them a good review. (This was my first review: Why I love Hardee’s… They make a lettuce wrapped burger feel like you’re actually eating something … Also, as of now, there is a low carb breakfast bowl) I may update the photo if they continue with the single piece of lettuce.

We stopped in yesterday during a road trip and had a surprisingly great experience at this Hardee’s location. From the moment we pulled up to the drive-thru, we were greeted by a very polite and attentive employee who made sure our entire order was right before we drove off. It may seem like a small thing, but he took the time to double-check that we had all the sauces, napkins, and straws—something we really appreciated, especially when eating on the go.
Our food was made perfectly and tasted fresh and flavorful, which stood out to us because we don’t often visit Hardee’s anymore due to consistently disappointing experiences at our local location back home. This visit reminded us how good the food can be when it’s made right. The burgers were hot, the fries were crispy, and everything was just how we ordered it.
Even the root beer was on point—cold, fizzy, and not flat like we’ve gotten used to elsewhere. It really hit the spot and made for a satisfying meal on the road.
All in all, this stop completely changed our impression of Hardee’s. At least this location. Great service, great food, and a much better experience than we expected. If every location operated like this one, we’d be regulars again.
