Our first time visiting this restaurant. Overall had a nice experience.
Pros – delicious food, drinks, and atmosphere! Our waiter Sandra was amazing!
Cons – hostess and manager were not welcoming as we entered to dine or as we exited after our lovely dining experience. All patrons deserve the same level of service and courtesy.
We will return as everyone deserves a second chance.

Valet parking after a certain on busy evenings. Greeted as soon as we walked in. Great service. Good quality food and tasty drinks. Lots of options. Pricey but it is Peruvian food after all and it’s so good! Family friendly but had party area downstairs on certain nights.

First time visiting. Amazon atmosphere, decor and lively music. We ate at the bar, and what a great time. The servers were very helpful, took their time making recommendations on the iPad menu. Their recommendations were excellent! You can tell the food was freshly made, taste was excellent. Jessy the bartender was awesome, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience at this Peruvian restaurant! We ordered the ceviche, mixed chaufa, and chicken causa—all were absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was vibrant with great music, and the place was spotless, which we really appreciated. Service was attentive and friendly, and there’s plenty of parking, which is always a plus.
The only reason I’m giving 4.5 stars instead of 5 is that the prices felt a bit on the higher side compare to others. Still, the quality and experience make it worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be coming back

The restaurant is beautiful with its renovations. However, the service and quality of food I received yesterday 01/20/2026 was horrible. I have been to plenty D’Carbons and have never been this dissatisfied with a Jalea. The jalea came with one shrimp, a very few amount of calamari, scattered pieces of not so fresh fish, 1 mussel, and the tiniest piece of crab. I ordered a fried calamari just to combine it. The servers initially didn’t come to the table but once me and company got into conversation and attempted to finish our pitcher of sangria it got to a point where the server made it uncomfortable to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. $134 later and I will not return to this D’Carbon. Personally you can have better quality and friendlier staff at the River Street location.

Nice atmosphere, food tasty, service good.
The bad:
Waaaaaaay over-priced, $150 w/tip for two dishes. Portions not good enough for the money. What I found to be truly annoying, was they had some photographer going around taking people’s pictures, then coming over and trying to sell pictures inside of fancy picture frames for $25. Very annoying and ridiculous, a total cash grab. Prices are high because they provide entertainment. However, LOL. There was some kind of Duo up there, a female singer accompanied by a keyboardist. When I tell you that this woman could not sing, it was embarrassing. I felt embarrassed for her, it was unbelievable that this place could hire people like that to perform, at first I thought it was karaoke and people from the restaurant were getting up and singing, LOL. Bottom line is if you going to charge higher prices, then at least hire people with talent. Probably not going back again

Food was great, probably would’ve been better if it was warm. I ordered to-go into store on NYE and was quoted about 20mins. LOONG wait short, I spent 30ish mins looking at a bag that was my order even after the manager on staffed “looked” for my order. I get it, it was crazy for the holiday. so, I’m going to excite my self to come back and dine-in instead!

I ordered the papa a la huancaina and was told the reg size was big enough for 3 people. And then once I picked up the order, the cashier said this is the size for one person. Plus they added the bag charge and tip into the price. They told me the rice was the size for 5 people. And when I got it, it’s the size of one.
Plus I feel I was overcharged.
