My husband and I recently dined at Don Cha Peruvian Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach, and everything was delicious. Our server, I believe her name was Valerie (apologies if I got that wrong), was wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. We trusted her recommendations for both food and beverages and were not disappointed.
For our appetizer, we had the Tequeños de Pollo with Huancaína sauce. The chicken was tender, and the sauce added a rich, creamy flavor that paired perfectly.
My husband ordered the Arroz Criollo, and the chicken thighs were seasoned and fried perfectly.
The rice had a unique, flavorful taste that really stood out. I had the Estofado de Res, and it was fantastic-the stew meat was incredibly tender and soft, with deep, comforting flavor in every bite.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be returning.

Food was amazing and authentic. Got the ceviche tigres, smoked steak with rice chaufa and yuca fritos. I tried their purple corn drink and it was good but didnt get any cause already ordered too much food. My friend got the wings and the pesto with pork belly. Definitely a must go and stop by if youre in town visiting.

The beef stew was perfectly cooked, soft potatoes and veggies, great flavors and really comfort food for a long day. The tequenos were absolutely delicious and the beans were great. Happy I tried this on a rainy day where I was feeling blah as something hearty and filling.

We first visited in 2023 and we came every day of our vacation. We knew we had to come back and came back in 2024. Now back again in 2026 and this place is consistently amazing! You have to come try it!

A truly lovely Peruvian meal experience! We both ordered from their special’s menu and it was absolutely worth it!
My dish was a deep fried mashed potato filled with Peruvian stew. This dish tasted like a warm hug and felt like the superior shepherds pie. The flavors were subtle and well balanced and left you feeling happily full by the end.
I also got the nonalcoholic Peruvian drink made from purple corn. This ended up being a pleasant surprise for me! The drink was a unique blend of flavors, starring purple corn, pineapple, cinnamon, and clove. Together this combination re-created a wine/tea experience with its tart flavor and spices. But if you find yourself a fan of that flavor profile, this refreshing drink will not disappoint!
The service was also top-notch, very attentive, and kind. Our server was always willing to help us through all of the different menu items to find the perfect dish. We will definitely be back again!

Man, what a feast we had at Don Cha! After scarfing down those Peruvian dishes, I was so stuffed and happy I thought I’d turn into a jolly guinea pig rolling to the market. Pepe, the legend who waited on us, was a total champ—he even offered us a blanket for a nap, like we were grandpas after a roast chicken feast. The guy’s got more energy than an Arequipa market! The food was so darn good it felt like the chef swiped recipes from the Inca gods, with ceviche that makes you hum “Valicha” and lomo saltado that has you dancing huayno. The place was buzzing like a jungle party, and Pepe treated us like we were his favorite cousins. A buddy told me, “You gotta hit Don Cha,” and now I owe him a statue in the town square. I grabbed two plates to go for dinner since cooking at night is like asking my cat to grill anticuchos—total chaos. And the prices? So cheap my wallet winked at me. Don’t sleep on this spot, or you’ll regret it more than when I chugged three pisco sours and ended up dancing with a broom. Don Cha’s a home run—don’t miss it!

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Not busy at all. Beautiful dining area decorated with Peruvian landscape paintings. Our server, Pepe, was friendly and helpful explaining the vast choices on the menu. I chose a “Causa” with shrimp—a layered mashed potato dish with the most delicious saucy flavors. Delightful culinary experience and under $20. I believe this restaurant is my favorite in FWB. Thank you.
