What am I going to do with milk and syrup? :/ I placed a mobile order for a protein sugar free vanilla latte and a Boston cream donut. The employee who handed me my drink knew they were out of donuts but did not inform me. She handed me the drink, which was overflowing with cream or cold foam, gave me an already opened straw, then closed the window and said nothing. I remained in the drive thru because I assumed I was still waiting on my donut. With several cars behind me, I thought they were busy, and the lobby was closed. During that time, employees came to the window multiple times but never acknowledged my presence or asked what I was waiting for. Finally, an employee came to the window, looked out at the line of cars, and asked me what I was waiting on. That is when I was informed they did not have donuts available. She offered me a different donut they had on hold, which I accepted since I had already paid for a donut and a drink. Since there were cars waiting behind me and the lobby was closed, I chose to leave at that point.

The location is difficult to get in and out of and there are only two parking spots with one of them being disabled parking. The drive-thru is your best bet but if you are at the Kirklin Clinic you can easily walk over. The staff was friendly and I received my coffee and donut quickly. The lobby was clean and while seating is limited inside there is a table outside.

3rd times a charm right? Nope! This DD location has “Hands Down” the worst tasting coffee in the metro area. Ill go to Pilot before going here again. Homewood, Trussville, Vestavia etc, great coffee. Go there.

I was there this morning putting up My Daughter’s order that she texted me and the kid on the cashier the minute I got there he went to go on. I start reading my order and every time I pause He was gonna go on come on go on. He just did not want me to stop reading making sure he gets the order right he was so rude. He should be fired. This place sucks from parking to service. I should’ve went to the one in Brookwood instead. Very rude very bad service. I don’t know how they do business because service is very important. I could not figure out who is the manager, but somebody came and apologized. you can’t go in the morning to get some coffee and some kid trying to mess up your morning By being rude. I never go to this place ever again.

Extremely Unsatisfactory Experience at Dunkin**

I had a terrible experience at this Dunkin location. I found a fly in my coffee, and to my dismay, the management showed no concern for the issue. While customers were meeting at the back door to get their orders, I noticed a full rack of baked goods by the entrance, attracting flies from all over. I could even see where the fly came from, as there’s a dumpster right there—this is so unsanitary.

When I requested a replacement for my meal, that was the only response I received, with no further acknowledgment of the situation. I reached out to corporate, only to discover that this location isn’t even BBB certified, and I never heard back from anyone.

As someone who works at UAB Hospital, the lack of concern for customer safety is alarming. I have pictures of the fly on the napkin when I spit it out, which I can provide upon request. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. If I don’t hear back from anyone regarding this matter, I may have to consider legal action.

How do you run a doughnut shop with no doughnuts in it? Thanks for the few chocolate doughnut holes that I was able to purchase and the coffee. The holes tasted greasy and they made me sick to my stomach. It’s amazing how you manage to have 8 or 9 employees around and can’t even manage to have any doughnuts for sale. You guys are geniuses!!! I saw a total of 32 customers pull up and have to leave. Notice in the picture of the empty doughnut racks, that the employee had his drink on the counter by the cash register like it was nothing.

This location can be a bit difficult to get in and out of, especially in the drive-thru, and the roads could really use some repair since there are quite a few potholes. The past few times I’ve visited, the drive-thru experience hasn’t been the best — the staff can come across a little rushed, and my food hasn’t always been ready when I arrived. A couple of times, my drink also tasted watered down, almost like it had been made ahead of time. I really like Dunkin’, but I hope this location can make a few improvements to the service and upkeep.

Mistakes were made on our order and one of the donuts look like it was there when the store was built, not bad just mangled.

The drive though is dodgy though, the road is really bad with potholes. It empties to a parking area that is not very forgiving if you are not paying attention. I wonder if there have been accidents there before.

I went to THREE different Dunkins last night. They all said they close at 6, but the 1st one on bankhead hwy was finished cleaning by the time we got there at 5, the next one 11 minutes away, on 6th Ave, wasn’t open at all, then the final one in Hoover didn’t have 1 donut. Actually they didn’t have ANY sweets. Lol. It was a bad night
