It’s been a while since we have gone to Outback but the last time we went everything was great. The bone in rib eye steak I ordered was cooked perfectly to medium rare and my wife’s salmon was very much to her liking. The service was excellent so We plan on going to the Outback again this Saturday for valentines dinner so I expect everything will be great again.

Had to wait a while after getting our table to get our drinks and then place our order. Food was great but not the quantity that was displayed in the photo. Never saw the waiter once after our food was delivered. We wanted more drinks and waters but couldn’t tell him because he never came back. I’ll think twice before going back.

Update: our server Melanie was very nice. However, it took 15 minutes to get my first drink. It was taking so long that I finally started a timer on my watch. We came early to beat the rush and it was empty, but still took forever for appetizers, water, and Dr. Pepper, then drinks after, after, the meal had come. Usually, my drink comes with the appetizer. It took so long that I ordered a second drink when I got my first. My friend ordered a drink as well, but it was too sweet for her so she ordered the same as mine. I gave her my drink when it came and was waiting for her drink which never came never came, and we had to cancel because we had an appointment to get to. We came early to avoid the rush, but slow delivery marred the dinner.
Ordered the Prime Rib medium which was delicious as always. Love their bloomin’ Onion. The bread was soft. My daughter ordered the shrimp and fettuccine, which she enjoyed.
For reals, I KNOW our server, Melanie was polite and kept checking on our drinks and food but it just wasn’t coming out despite it being slow. But when we got it, it was very tasty.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years! I was born and raised in Ventura and live thousands of miles away! Whoever decided this new lighting is good is CRAZY! I cannot believe how bright and uncomfortable it is! I felt like I was in a department store or worse! Massively bright and got spots in my eyes. I heard others talking about it too. We want cozy and dim!! What is wrong with you??? I will NEVER be back because of it. So uncomfortable! Horrible! Food and service was spot on but the atmosphere now has been destroyed! You “remodeled”?? Why? The hanging lights and comfort was perfect! So very sad…

Just went for a simple meal, the onion blossom dish was great, it needed another sauce serving. We weren’t able to finish the onion so we took it home, it was good enough for me to finish up later. This place is known for their steaks but we were full with a few ribs and chicken portions. There was also bread & butter that came in at first. I had a chicken tortilla soup that was delicious. Our bottomless Aussie Palmer’s and basically other small but many sides we consumed completed our dinner. Overall nice experience there and the staff there was helpful and kind.

Outstanding service and the food of course. I had a 15ounce ribeye and it was cooked pretty well to my request. In fact the 15 ounce was to much for me since I ended up with some left over. Our server, Audrey was very attentive that she made our night very pleasant. Manager is awesome helping their staff who also serve our food and dish out some tables. One thing i would bring to the management is the part of their floor on the way to the rest room is very sticky and it would make a sound every step you make. Sticky floor I believe. Probably a soda spilled. Not sure.

Have been here many times. Table of 6 this evening. Food was good as usual. Staff was great as usual.
The new super-bright operating room lighting is horrible! Felt like I was at Denny’s. Manager said they are not able to dim the lights.
I will not return until the lighting is fixed.

While outback, actual meat has gone Downhill for 10 years now. It’s more like Denny’s the rest of the things are still very good. You just have to be cautious What you order. I wouldn’t waste money on a really good piece of meat here. Unfortunately used to be one of my all times favorites. Now I can have cheese fries and a Salad. and be just as happy. Still ordered the basics again used to be one of my favorites this particular restaurant. The service was great. The people were nice.
