Went to House of Kobe on Christmas Day 12/25/25 as it was one of the few restaurants open that day. Had an excellent experience. Most of the menu orders comes with a soup (it was a chicken soup with noodles and mushrooms), a house salad (just a plain salad), an entree (I had the Ribeye medium well), noodles or rice, and ice cream. My ribeye was perfectly cooked and my portion was HUGE!!! I also tried the chicken which was also cooked perfectly…juicy and not dry at all!!! It was very packed but all in all it was a great experience. I will go back again.

We normally go here for the hibachi but we heard about the new sushi menu and we decided to try that this time. AMAZING! The chefs were incredibly helpful when we were deciding on which rolls to try. The sushi itself was super fresh and the presentation alone was beautifully done. 10/10 recommend trying their new sushi menu. For reference we ordered 4 rolls – dragon, white Sox, garlicious, and shrimp and salmon rolls.

This place is great – the food is ALWAYS fresh, and the portions are humongous so you get to enjoy all of the flavors again at home. Years ago, my boyfriend and I brought a friend from Kenya here. He was in America for work and had been eating fast food for at least a week. He was so grateful to come to House of Kobe as the food is ALWAYS fresh and it reminded him of home since they go to the market every day to get fresh produce. The hibachi is delightful, and the chefs have pretty good aim as I am not skilled at catching food with my face, and I have only been slapped in the face with a shrimp once well over 10 years ago at this location. I always default to the land and sea dinner with steak and shrimp. The soup is so simple, yet delicious with an occasional green onion or fresh mushroom. I LOVE their ginger dressing for the salad – even better, you can order some to-go! The koi pond is nice in the summer, too.

Food was great, service was great, the experience was great, the price was high, we would go again but at the price point we would only be for special occasions.

This visit was our kids first experience at a hibachi grill. We were all much entertained by the chef’s show while cooking the food. The food quality was high and portions were very generous. We all brought home a pretty full leftover box.

The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the cost. For our family of 4, we all ordered a standard meal, and the only extras were 2 soft drinks and an order of fried rice. (We were surprised that fried rice was not included given the meals are over $30). Our total with the included 18% tip was $199.76. I think this is the most we ever spent on a family dinner.

Went there last night (2-15-26) for dinner around 5pm. We were seated at the grill where people were already eating their salads. So we had to rush through eating our soup and salad ourselves. I ordered the Filet and Shrimp. When the cook came out, he dumped my filet on grill with the ribeye the other guests ordered. He then proceeded to chop up my filet with everyone else’s ribeye into a big pile. So basically, everyone at the table got some of my filet while I got a bunch of tough ribeye.

That being said, the food tasted good. Just not ever ordering steak from there again.

I haven’t been in this location in about a year. We went for lunch and it started off rough right from the start. The fans were not working on tables, something spilled on our grill and they couldn’t get it off tried to cook on top of it. I and other guests had to ask 3 or 4 times to be moved. After finally being moved the owner did offer us a free round of drinks which was appreciated. We didn’t get any sort of “show” at that point food was just cooking. After looking around I felt pretty disgusted with the lack of cleaning. Air vents filthy, tables sticky, floors in bathroom sticky. I don’t know if I want to see the kitchen. After I seen the reviews of food poisoning pray for me y’all because that was my immediate thought when I walked out.

Great performance. Lots of food. Eat quick as it does not stay warm. The quantity was overwhelming, but part of that is because of the amount of vegetables.

Good place to go as a family when the kids are between 5-10 for a birthday.

Unfortunately we got food poisoning… what we thought was a delicious meal turned into instant regret shortly after. My group has been sick for about 3 days . And it’s coming out both ends. (think of Bridesmaid)

Tried this place out as an alternative option since our “go to” (longhorn steakhouse) was packed!

What they serve you is nothing like what they post on their DoorDash menu.

Basically, you’re paying for the live cooking and “experience” more than the food. Food was ok, but honestly over priced for the value.

Our server and chef were nice.

Each cooking station has room for 10 people.
