Came here for our first Michelin Star French restaurant experience. We tried the tasting menu plus Escargots. Overall the food was good. The first two courses (crudo and duck), and the escargots were great. Thing started to fall apart with the third course (venison), way too acidic and dark for my personal taste, and the flambéed crepes were not great as a dessert. Service was great as expected, atmosphere was amazing (loved the wall decor). We ended up paying just around $350 ($430 after tips) for two people. It was a good one-time experience if you have never been to a similarly styled restaurant, but nothing overly amazing beyond that.

Really wonderful food and service! The servers and the food couldn’t be any better. The kitchen is open to the dining room, and even the kitchen team have a jolly and positive attitude that contributes to the experience.
I appreciated that in each set if course choices had at least one non-seafood option, though our party had every dish collectively and each was rated top notch.
I also appreciated a wide offering of non-alcohol or de-alchoholed drink choices.
The venue is tightly packed and quite loud however; and you should plan at least two hours to make it through all the courses.

Went to St. Lawrence recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. The service was honestly great super friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. The starters I had before the four-course meal were also delicious and gave me high hopes for the rest of the night.
But when it came to the actual four-course menu, it just didn’t live up to the hype. The dishes felt a little flat and underwhelming, especially compared to how good the starters were. For a place with such a big reputation, I was expecting more excitement and creativity in the food.
Overall, I’d say it was an okay night out. The staff were fantastic and the starters shined, but the main meal just wasn’t memorable enough

Amazing experience. Small restaurant with a fun and subdued atmosphere (loved the French Quebec music!). The food was perfectly executed and delicious. Cocktail was great. Service was on point. Would definitely recommend and return.

I really really loved this place. I could be biased because I love French food but even compared to other French restaurants the food had a really wonderful complexity the sauces were amazing! It was a real culinary experience I ordered almost exactly the things I loved and while sitting at the bar the person serving me was very polite well spoken and offered impeccable service. The price according to the quality of the food and service was great aswell. I will definitely come back as I was thinking about how great my time was there for days.

This restaurant lays somewhere between magnificent and incredible. Stacy the bar server took care of me – incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, & funny. The cooks were friendly and approachable. The atmosphere was quaint, charming, & inviting. I think this is a very close second best restaurant I’ve ever experienced (Proxi – Chicago), followed by Alex Dilling in London.
The food was masterful and well thought-out. The sommelier perfectly paired everything. The textures, the mouthfeel, the flavors, the nose, and the wine pairing were flawless.
Whole heartedly, I implore you to have the escargot followed by the four part chef’s menu. The escargot is like a modern take the French classic with the parley garlic butter, but shelled and served in a sublime pastry shell. The warm brioche with whipped fois grois under a maple gel and a terrine was eye opening. The mushroom tart in a Mornay sauce (think pot pie) was warm & comforting every delightful bite with the most perfectly cooked buttery mushrooms in a very thin quiet Mornay letting the mushrooms shine. The beef tartare was rustic & homey with the most jammy egg yolk and a just tart strawberry forward pinot noir. The chicken was amongst the juiciest piece of meat I’ve ever eaten. And the rice pudding was calm, simple, and entrancing.
100% I will go back next time I visit Vancouver.

I truly do not believe 5 stars is enough. From the moment you walk in you feel at home. Service impeccable. Food you’ll thank god for. Wine menu 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10. This restaurant has blown my foodie mind. Take this as a MUST try. You will not regret it!

Wow! Spectacular from beginning to end! We had the Cabane à Sucre menu and it was so worth it. Karan (our server) was great but honestly every single person who worked there were so genuinely nice and happy to be there. Not pretentious AT ALL.
They were SO attentive too. They grabbed my coat before I could even ask for it and had it ready on the way out.
I truly felt like I just travelled to Quebec with this menu ✨ bravo

We came for the Cabane à Sucre menu, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The restaurant is more like a casual bistro. It was packed to the gills with essentially no space between tables, which made for a pretty loud and cramped experience.
As for the food, most of it wasn’t particularly impressive, with the notable exception of the rice pudding, which was easily the highlight of the meal. If I were a Michelin judge, I wouldn’t be handing out any stars here; it’s more of a local ‘Recommended’ spot for a casual bite rather than a destination for fine dining.

The acidity in sauce brings lots of joyful surprise to me. It’s just great balance between richness and freshness. The liver mousse with cherry sauce is a MUST TRY. The only tiny dissatisfaction is that the fish in pastry(the main course) is a bit salty for me, which didn’t leave much room for its perfect sauce to shine. The fish was pretty juicy though.
