I had an amazing experience at this Indian buffet. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant itself had such a great vibe. The location is super convenient and there’s plenty of easy parking nearby, which made the whole visit even more stress-free.
What really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive and kept checking in to make sure everything was good without ever being intrusive. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience.
The buffet had a fantastic variety of dishes, all fresh, flavorful, and constantly being refilled. Everything we tried was delicious, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into the food. Between the amazing flavors, the great atmosphere, and the outstanding service, this place really exceeded expectations.
I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Indian buffet experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this was pretty upsetting. One entree is +$20 and we come home to find out we get a small container of actual curry and a large container of plain rice. We call the place and they said that’s what they do. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

I did not know that this place was also a buffet. I was just hungry for Indian food first, there is a lovely young lady who was the host and treated me with great service the entire evening. It was also the younger gentleman too. That was extremely polite and accommodating. so top marks for extremely good service. The place was facing to meet with all of the statues and artwork. I decided to try the buffet since that is the easiest way to quickly learn about the different dishes. I am familiar with Indian food, but so many dishes that I did not recognize. So in that regard, it was a great eating experience. However, it is a buffet and buffet is nature, have decent food, but not what I would consider top notch elegant food. The tandoori chicken was dry. The other dishes were good. If you are looking for high and fine dining for Indian food, this is not necessary the place to go. I could’ve ordered off the menu which might’ve made a big difference and I might do that the next time. But there is a great selection of food and the price is reasonable.it is a good food experience. And again I would go again just for the excellent service by the young lady and young gentlemen that rated on me.

Out for our anniversary, Chose East India Company, local and had not been before, a great choice!! We had the buffet so we could sample different dishes. Butter Chicken was so good, the Fish Curry was spicy, with soft fish, just right. The rices were delicious, a salad bar with multiple choices. The staff were amazing, very attentive. Took a picture for us and served a special desert with sparklers. At no time did we feel rushed.

A very decent place to have an equally decent buffet.
To begin with, the restaurant is very well laid-out, with three pretty large rooms tucked away in three different areas, and hidden from each other. The ambience of the place is commendable, including the various statues, figurines and wall decorations. The dishes offered are varied and prepared pretty well. The servers are hard-working and courteous.
My only two peeves are, first, that the beef was too hard, and needed a lot of chewing and, secondly, that there isn’t enough light on the flight of steps leading up to the entrance door. Those are probably the two reasons this location will get a 4-star rating from me instead of a five.
Overall, very much recommended.

Usually, we go there for dinner, but this time we stopped by for lunch and the staff were as friendly as always, and the atmosphere so welcoming. The buffet is rich with many options, including large variety in the dessert section, and the food is decadent with a good amount of spice and heat.
It’s great that the regular naan is now included in the buffet (at no extra charge), but I wish they also had the chicken korma as part of the lunch buffet because that’s my favorite dish.
The East India Company is one of the best Indian restaurants in Ottawa, given the extensive variety of options offered on their menu/buffet. Had lunch buffet recently, and it was a great experience. Food is yummy. My favorite was that creamy cashew curry, which was perfect for Naan. There was only one waiter serving the customers, and he was doing just great. Relaxing environment. Highly recommend .

The only items that seemed fresh were the water and the salad, and the desserts tasted stale. However, the service provided was good and the staff were courteous. Went for a lunch buffet. Very good quality Indian food and desserts. The service is very nice even though there is only one server during the day. Good value for your money. Highly recommend.
