This was our first time here. We were greated immediately. The waitress/host was amazing, friendly and helpful. She helped us figure out the menu, kept are drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was on point and delicious. All the breakfast basics served up hot and you could also order eggs the way you would like if need be. We definitely will be back for dinner.

The staff was awesome. It’s was a pleasure to see all of the staff in a place happy to be at work and full of joy. It says a lot about the quality of the management/ownership. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. Got meat+1 (included a roll and a drink) for $11. Very clean and just can’t say enough about how pleasant and attentive the staff was. Will be back.

For those desiring down home cooking, this is the place to go. We are talking pork chops, meatloaf, fried liver, okra, rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese, cornbread and such.
This is not the rib place, or the fish/steak house. This is Mama’ Sunday Dinner style cooking. This is where you go for boiled cabbage or corned beef because you can’t find it anywhere else.
They have a buffet style service, but you can get made to order items also.
The buffet changes menu items daily.
Open seating in a more dated atmosphere, but considering that they are serving more traditional foods, I actually think that the decor is fitting.
Price wise, some may say that the food is slightly overpriced. The average meal for a meat, two vegetables and a drink is approximately $15.00.
That may seem a bit high, but in comparison, one will spend roughly $10.00 for a burger, fries and drink at a fast food chain. Here you are getting real food, approximately sized portions, and good face to face service. I know that they also have a drive thru window option, but I don’t know if that is for pre-order only or not.
I almost hate to tell the world about OJ’s, as I know that more people will start frequenting OJ’s, which means a bit more crowded at lunch, but I wouldn’t be doing anyone or OJ’s any favors if I didn’t recommend them.
Great food, great service, fair prices, and hands down some of the best Southern style food that can be found.

This is truly my “Go To” place for a real “Soul” meal, love it. Great staff and good prices and my two favorites out of everything is the baked chicken and squash casserole, yummy.

I am a Greenville native and I just recently tried Oj’s because I always hear mixed reviews. Firstly, the prices should be listed before we get to the register and although I like the buffet spread to see what options of food, it was still a little cold. The salmon patties tasted freezer burnt, and I also had eggshells in my eggs. With this restaurant being in service for so long, there is no way there should be eggshells in my eggs. But the grits and turkey sausage was good. With all that said, I will try the dinner next time.

Could easily be 5 stars… foods good but not listing prices and once I get to the register $9.00 for half a sausage, eggs and a biscuit?? Yea way over priced… I understand inflation but at least give us the chance to decide how much we want to spend if you’re planning on charging so much. Staff was pleasant though.

Great lunch! Had the baked flounder, macaroni and cheese, spinach, okra and tomatoes and broccoli casserole with the best piece of cornbread and a tea.

food was very good I got 3 drumsticks, fish, grits, eggs, a biscuit, and some of their sunrise lemonade and I see alotta people complaining about the prices should be listed. I also agree for clarity but it isn’t a big deal I been eating here for years.
