When I got home, I found one burger well made and delicious, but another had a lot of pink where I ordered no pink. I called the store and the manager offered a refund for the item right away, which I also got an email about it soon after. I really appreciate her help!!
Will return to this Red Robin for the awesome staff!
My wife ordered a salad and specifically asked the server what came on it. He did not list all of the ingredients, so when it arrived with items she wasn’t expecting (and didn’t want), they were already mixed in. We calmly explained the situation and simply asked if it could be remade. We were not upset, not rude, and not demanding — just asking for it to be corrected.
The server was polite and said it was no problem.
What happened next was shocking.
A manager came out with the replacement salad and immediately began making sarcastic remarks. He stated that he had added extra of the items my wife didn’t want. He continued speaking in a condescending and mocking tone. What should have been a quick correction turned into a prolonged and uncomfortable interaction where he repeatedly insulted both my wife and me.
We were not complaining about the restaurant — we were simply correcting a mistaken order.
To make matters worse, the salad itself contained brown, wilted lettuce that appeared old and on the verge of going bad. When I mentioned this, the manager did not apologize or offer to adjust the bill. He only offered to bring another one — which, after being openly insulted by him, we declined. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable accepting food handled under those circumstances.
We paid our bill and left feeling disrespected and genuinely stunned that someone identifying himself as a manager would treat paying customers this way.
The server was kind and professional. Management, however, was the exact opposite.
Customer service starts at the top. If this is how management treats guests over a simple salad remake, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. We will not be returning.
This year, I got a classic Bloody Mary to start. The BM mix is pretty good. I added ground pepper for more of a kick. Then I ordered the monster burger (2 patties!) with pepper jack cheese and no bun, broccoli for the side, and a side of bacon cheese fondue to dip my broccoli in. I forgot to take a picture before I dove in, so there are some bites missing, and we ate half the cheese fondue already
Service was good, and the atmosphere was chill for a Friday lunch.
