Our sever Hali M was amazing and got to us quickly. The food came out hot and fresh and we got pretty large portions compared to what we expected!! The special Truffle and mushroom alfredo was perfect.

Sat at the bar had a fabulous spicy pineapple margarita. Dinner was a Korean BBQ chicken sandwich with Brussel sprouts as the side and I was so happy with the choice. My Boyfriend had the nights special seafood linguine and he said the seasoning was on point.

The service was wonderful

Had a weird and off putting experience. Server was nice. She asked if we wanted to hear the specials. Uh yeah thank you? So unfortunately I got the Cajun pasta. It was just ok. The cream sauce was broken so it was more like an oily butter sauce. The peppers were not really cooked either. The best part of the dish was the shredded parm. I ate it because I was hungry. But now my stomach is super upset. My boyfriend had a very sub par French dip. It was pretty bad. Cold bun and dry meat the gouda gave it a weird twang. The worst part was the O.C.C fee. We were not told about fee. We paid cash and were confused so we asked a bartender or manager. She said it was an operational fee?? I asked why that wouldn’t have just been worked into the food cost as it was off-putting to see it on the reciept. She spun it to where we were saving money that way. I should’ve saved my money and upset stomach going elsewhere. The server also didn’t give us our silver change. So the bartender reached into her tip bucket with a condescending “hope you have a great day” and sat it on the bar top. Yeah it’s. 21 cent but add that up over time. I’ve been in the food service industry for almost 20 years. Things are changing but it’s sad that it’s a gamble to go eat any where. Now we have to pay for the employees insurance? My work doesn’t do that. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The best thing about our visit was the service. Our waiter was fantastic, made some wonderful recommendations based on the food we ate for appetizers and was a great conversationalist without being overbearing. Our food was good and there was plenty for what you paid for.

University Roadhouse is very overprice and I don’t understand why. Kalamazoo is a small town.
Burger is good, $17. Add a side another $9. Portion is very small so I had to order a side salad $6. The salad is all lettuce and the crouton was soft and old. Also they have OCC charge, which is another 4%. You can do the math here

I want to try their summer special menu so went back and wasted more money after work. Chicken Palo which is different name for fried chicken scrap with some Alfredo sauce. $20. Special menu has no price listed by the way, I had to ask the bartender like I am sitting in a steakhouse ordering fresh seafood. Even though I have a lot of complains, their parking lot is full every night. It is a nice tavern to hangout.

If you are on a budget, get burger with water. It comes with fries. Monday is 30% off. I do like their burger and baked mac and cheese.

Food was great portion, fair prices and good service. Food is a little more seasoned than I am use to in a restaurant like this. Wide variety in menu..

Great campus roadhouse. Typically a college vibe going on, but good variety on the menu and deliciously prepared. My wife had the Ahi tuna and I had a burger. Both were excellent. Parking can be a challenge in the lot but I think there is street parking on both sides of the restaurant.

We had a large, last minute group from a hockey game. A local coach recommended the restaurant to us.
The food was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was raving about it.
Service was great and accommodating. Very fast and everything was correct. We had many separate checks.
We all highly recommend it. Thank you for feeding our very hungry players!

Food is always fresh, you can tell the chef knows what he’s doing. Their fries are fire, best burgers ever. Their chicken bang bang was realllyy good! Large portion too. They def batter their own chicken and fries. Carrot cake prob the best I’ve ever had. They should really think about adding onion rings to the menu
