Long story short: Its Fine. My standards for BBQ are admittedly high being a Southern transplant to Denver, that being said there are a few places in Colorado that meet my standards… Lulu’s does not make this list sadly. The Sauces themselves are quite good! The brisket potato was stingy on toppings and the potatoes was quite undercooked but still edible. The “Hot Mess” was exactly that, a bunch of pulled pork and brisket chopped up and made into a spicy sloppy joe sort of amalgamation, this was not good at all and was a waste of what I assume was originally decent BBQ. Our server was not attentive and only came back to the table once and I never got to ask for more potato toppings to try and mend my sad loaded brisket potato. Unsure why this place is rated so highly, Louisville’s standards for BBQ should be set a bit higher.

I love this place. Lulu’s is a must stop for me. Louisville, CO beautiful town with beautiful people. The ribs are always tender and juicy, the brisket is more of the same. Everything is well seasoned. U gotta try the wings. Oh and the fried Pickles will change your life. You really can’t go wrong in my opinion. This is Dee and I Love LuLu’s

The service was great. But the food was just average. I got the half rack with garlic mashed potatoes and the bbq beans.
I sent the beans back since they tasted more like vinegar than anything else.
The mashed potatoes were absolutely flavorless. So I took them home mixed them up with some heavy cream, salted butter and pepper and they were amazing. You guys might want to offer the garlic mashed potatoes as loaded or with a side of sour cream in the future. The coleslaw was actually decent.
The ribs I’ll have to say tasted okay but they were drier than I normally like. The meat also didn’t fall off the bone which is fine, I know that not everybody likes that and prefer their ribs with a bite.
Overall this an average bbq joint and I’d probably go back–I’d just get different sides.

A very solid BBq joint! Really loved the pulled pork and half chicken. Those were perfect. The brisket, turkey and rib tips are really good as well. They have the usual yummy sides and have a rotating option for veggies of the day. Three sauce options – liked all three but found the hot one my top selection.

Worst BBQ I have ever had. Upon paying our bill, I was asked about the meal and that is exactly what I said. Not sure who I was speaking with, but he did not charge us for our meal which was not the intent. I am and have been an avid smoker of meats for years. The pulled pork was stringy and dry. The brisket had absolutely no moisture at all. Really hate to post this review, but they asked.

This was some really great BBQ! I’ve eaten so much bad BBQ I usually just make my own these days but I was visiting my brother who lives in Louisville and he vouched for this place. As it turned out, they served me the best smoked turkey I’ve ever had, and that includes the stuff I’ve had at famous places in TX/ I also really loved the rib tips. Their take on that was super tasty. The service was great and the only gripe I have is that I wish there’d been a bit more on my platter for the price.

Lulu’s is THE place to go for great food, attentive staff, and a great atmosphere. We go to Lulu’s quite often and everything we’ve tried is absolutely amazing! From their signature Texas Slush to their appetizers, platters, and unmatched cornbread – you won’t be disappointed!
Catch a game or visit with family and friends- this is the place to be!

Let me start by saying I grew up in Central Texas and have eaten my more than my fair share of good (and bad). This place was delicious! I wish I could have eaten more.
Very reasonably priced (esp compared to where I live). Brisket was juicy and had just the right amount of fat. I don’t normally like BBQ chicken but enjoyed this one a lot.
We stopped here on the way to the airport from Boulder so it was nice to have a brisket snack on our flight back home!
Kind of place I would frequent if I lived nearby. Highly recommend!

We were looking for some authentic, mouth-watering BBQ, and we found it! We were greeted by a friendly smile and an option to sit on the patio or inside. As it was a lovely day, we chose the patio (which I definitely recommend). There is an extensive beverage menu, both spirited and not. For entrees, I chose the 1/2 and 1/2, with ribs and chicken. The ribs were fall off the bone good and seasoned to perfection. The chicken was also tasty. My guest chose the brisket. We traded a slice of brisket for a rib, and I can say the brisket was spot on. For desert, we shared a slice of honemade keylime pie. It was huge, probably 1/4 of a pie. If you’re in the area, definitely give Lulu’s a try!

Not a bad place for BBQ. Unfortunately kinda average. Great staff and good environment but the actual BBQ meat was a little on the dry side. Good mac and cheese and other sides were pretty tasty. The best part was the fried pickles with their homemade sauce. Fantastic.
