I ordered the classic chicken sandwich. While it was priced like a Chik fil A chicken sandwich, it was small with a super thin patty more comparable to something you’d get off of the value menu at Mcdonalds. * for a second, I thought I was eating a McDonald’s filet o fish. Like, I had to inspect the sandwich to see if it was a fish patty instead of chicken. To be 100% honest, it might have been. I never figured it out.
Anyway, it wasn’t terrible, actually pretty tasty, but the price for the sandwich is why I am rating it low. No value to be had. I felt ripped off.
The lady at the drive through was incredibly nice. I knocked a star off of the atmosphere as the area is rough and the drive thru was weird and it just didn’t feel very welcoming.
Oh, one more thing. There were some weird prices. I asked for water and she said it was 89 cents. Since when has anything cost 89 cents? Then at the window it said sauce was 54 cents. What? Strange pricing for a national change. Just an odd note on the place.

This Church’s Chicken is mediocre for the price. Didn’t offer any sauces and the area is a bit shady and the facility wasn’t clean, nor did it have ample seating. The staff were straight forward and not very friendly. Probably won’t go back.

Went to Church’s today for my first time at this location. I have to say this was an interesting experience. The service wasn’t the friendliest and a bit slow. As you can see by the photos, the okra was a little over cooked. My sides were mostly wrong also. But some of this worked out for the best.
But the staples of churches are the chicken, right? The spicy chicken sandwich was incredible! I had chicken tenders too and they were amazing. They were both tender and juicy. The cole slaw was even great and I hate coke slaw (I didn’t order the cole slaw, it was a mistake).
Honestly, I would recommend going here if you don’t mind a no-frills atmosphere for some great chicken at a decent price.

The food is always fresh and they never get my order wrong! I love me some Church’s! I’ll make the drive to get some good chicken because Popeyes and KFC COULD NEVER do it this dang good! 10/10 would highly recommend!

It was such a confusing time here! Since I hadn’t been to Church’s since I was a kid, I wanted to check out this one since it was pretty close and to see for myself if their chicken was worth the southern cuisine hype. The service was pretty okay, the person who took our order was pretty bland, he just seemed kind of there, if that makes sense. We didn’t have anything missing in our order, and our food was ready to go in no time at all. However – the biggest complaints come from the food itself! I say this was a confusing experience because never had I had such good food that left me feeling deprived. We had two kinds of meals; a 5 pc tender meal with fries, a drink and a biscuit and a chicken sandwich meal with mac n cheese and a drink. The chicken was well seasoned, not too salty or too bland, and flavored beautifully. However, this will be the last compliment I can give, as they completely deprived us in every other way other than our drinks. The chicken was painfully dry, some parts were even burnt it was so dry. The portions they gave us for ridiculous – especially for being a southern cuisine place. They gave us only a handful of fries to complement and a small amount of shriveled-looking tenders. The mac and cheese they gave us only had less than half that would fill the styrofoam cup it was placed in. The best way I can think of these portions is those from a school lunch. Will not be returning here! For the price we paid, it was ridiculous – not even Popeyes, KFC, or Chick-Fil-A would have us so wrong like this!

if you want cold and dry chicken, this is the place to go. you would eat churches to get away from KFC but this store here you couldn’t really tell the difference.

This Churchs chicken place hands down the best in the city. I normally come here when I am in this side of town and the young lady who manages the front desk is always courteous and friendly. Chicken is hot and fresh and service pretty fast.

So I just purchased a smokehouse combo the girl ask me three times at drive thru what did I wanted I told her smoke house combo with mashed potatoes & medium drink. So she told me to come to window she ask me three times again what I wanted I told her smoke house combo with mashed potatoes & medium drink she gives me a large drink that I didn’t even drink because It was dirty at the top there was black stuff floating everywhere either it was food are roach crumbs it looks like. My chicken was so dry. I just can’t keep dealing with this location either they can’t understand English or there’s something wrong with me order every time. I’m tired of wasting my money here. This place needs inspection real bad.

Michael made all the difference. A wonderful outstanding cashier and employee for Churches. Greeted you with a smile greeted you with intelligence greeted you with energy. Michael is an asset to Church’s Chicken but he is leaving at the end of next week so a great asset has been lost or will be lost very shortly.
