Beautiful little pastry shop! The pastries are next level delicious. There’s a line but it moves fast and the staff is very kind. Great chicken and pasta salads for anyone looking for a quick lunch or snack. There’s a decent bit of outdoor seating but only a few seats inside. Plan to enjoy the patio or take to go.

pretty good food it can just be pretty slow. they also charge a “take out fee” which wasn’t communicated.

Spent a few days in Austin and this was the first and last place I stopped. Needed a place to catch up on some work and they provided a lovely outdoor area. I went back every morning of my trip to get my day started. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. The coffee and pastries are delectable. Special huge shout out to Sophia, she is truly one-of-a-kind. Warm smiles and the best energy! Thank you.

One of my all time favorite places. From the staff to their cappuccino’s and chocolate chip cookies this is one of the best places to stop and spend some time!

I have been going to Swedish hill for awhile, usually the Westlake one, but this time I thought I’d try the 6th street location. It was an excellent experience. The manager, Oti was brilliant and had great recommendations and took care of all our needs. He made me feel welcome and the staff was super freindly. The food was fresh and the coffee well made. 10/10, will be going there again

There has never been a scenario where I’ve wanted someone to use an entire stick of butter to lubricate the bread of my sandwich. I trust they probably made a decent loaf since it’s a bakery, but I’ll never know since it was sopping wet with food-lube. Would consider trying them again if when ordering they include “entire stick of butter for the bread” so I can opt out of that particular ingredient. Seriously. The wrapper looked like the brown paper bag from a Five Guys. Just soaked with grease. May as well have gone to McDonald’s.

Sandwich was $16.50. That mountain of lettuce on the bottom was an extra $0.50 – forgot my cheese as well. I would describe this as a “sad” sandwich.
Also the online order is missing options you can order in store.

Any pastry is always a delight here. Nothing on the menu has ever disappointed me. Service is also spectacular every time. I’m assuming she’s the manager but there’s a lady who always greets me with such warmth no matter the time or day. This is my neighborhood staple!

First time checking out Swedish Hill, and the flaky pastries were our favorites! I’m a sucker for anything cherry, and the tart cherry cream cheese danish, ham and cheese, kouign amann, and Nutella bun, almond croissant were amazing. We took a chance on the macarons (cranberry orange, gingerbread, and eggnog) but I’d probably skip them next time. As macarons go, they’re not as sweet as others, which I appreciate, but the texture was a bit too crisp, not as much chew as I’d expect from a macaron. The coffee is nice and strong and doesn’t feel watered down, I got the iced Swedish coffee (coconut cream and oat milk) and my mom got a hot almond milk latte with lavender. Both were delicious. Go for the flaky pastries and coffee! Sourdough looks yummy too!
