The service was incredible. Super friendly and attentive staff. Bacon and grits were great. French toast was a little overcooked for me personally and had a bit too much cinnamon. Probably would not get that again. Small egg portion even though it said 2 eggs. The country fried steak was good but definitely needed a lot more gravy so it’s not so dry. Overall I would return to try something different.

We visited on a busy Saturday after hearing great reviews about their breakfast specials. Unfortunately, we visited when they were short staffed and the service was almost nonexistent; we ordered a short stack that never arrived. The food was okay (the French toast was by far, the most delicious meal!) but didn’t seem like a good value for families. Our experience was okay, wouldn’t return though.

This was my first time here and the service was fast. The food was prepared to order and came out hot and fresh. My waiter was attentive and made to keep my cup refreshed with tea. The restaurant has a simple menu and it’s obvious they take pride in their product(s). Well done.

Cute little spot in williamsburg. Met w 2 girlfriends. We all got there at different times so at first waiting wasn’t an issue. It took a good 15min before we received drinks as we waited for our 3 person. We all ordered something different. Mixed fruit waffle looked too pretty to eat. My friend was able to finish half of it because it was so big. My other friend ordered a combo w pancakes, as did I. Everything was prepared to our order and the serving sizes were just right, not too much to have leftovers, but enough to leave us satisfied. I didnt get a picture of my combo, as part of it didn’t arrive until a few min after everything else was served. (I had already started eating the pancakes I was served )
My one friends son ordered chicken and waffles, he destroyed it .. he definitely didn’t read that chicken tenders were an option, but he devoured it nonetheless.

We had breakfast here on a busy Saturday morning and were seated quickly, which was a nice start. The vibe is very much classic diner—old-school salt and pepper shakers and a casual, no-frills atmosphere. The menu is extensive, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a few nontraditional breakfast options like fried catfish.
I ordered the catfish with breakfast potatoes and green beans. Everything was fine but underseasoned and could’ve used a bit more flavor. My husband had a breakfast sandwich made with French toast as the bread and really enjoyed it. He also commented that the coffee was better than what you typically get at most diners.
I’d return to try a few more items on the menu, but overall, I tend to prefer a more elevated dining experience. Solid spot if you’re in the mood for a classic diner with a wide range of options.

The Smokey Griddle is a MUST! If you are in the Williamsburg area, you must, you must, you must get the whole family up for breakfast and head to this breakfast joint. This was my second annual visit, and it is now a staple when I am in the Williamsburg area. I had the HUEVOS RANCHERO… I almost cried from the taste of the authentic Mexican red sauce over my eggs and refried beans. My wife says I did cry. Maybe I did. It was SOOO delicious. I felt like I didn’t deserve it. Wow. Then add the friendliness of Carlos, the owner who took care of us and even remembered me from a year ago. He and his staff were so, so friendly. They feel like family. This is not a meal, this is love: love put into the ingredients, love put into the cooking, and love put into the atmosphere. My next call is to Diners, Drive-ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. This place should be in the national spotlight. You’ll be seeing me next Spring Break.

Went here for breakfast for the first time Daughter liked it, so we went to try it out.
Nothing special to me that would want me to go back . It would’ve been cheaper for me to go to Golden corral. But the locals like it had a nice crowd there. The server was good. Just need to check back up on customers more. I’m a big water drinker. The Mrs and Daughter had a French toast. They said it was good. I did the pancakes it was OK.
The MeatLovers omelette was small, but it is what it is. Again, it was nice. Next time I go back, I’ll try to Belgian waffle & chicken Again, it was OK. Try and enjoy.

There’s a lot of breakfast places in Williamsburg, this one has the best cooks. Absolutely nailed the home fries. Every protein was cooked to perfection. The French toast was cinnamon crispy, buttery syrup, heaven counting the days till I go back.

I was getting my windshield replaced at Safelite less than a block away and this ole timer walked in raving about this little pancake place down the road. So I decided to take a walk.
It was worth it. The prices were very inexpensive. And the coffee was tasty. Not burt like some restaurants.
They immediately kept my coffee filled and was very polite.
I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Delicious food with daily specials and a good mix of savory and sweet! The juevos ranchero with chorizo was hot and fresh, as was the coffee. As far as service, there are two doors, one on each side of the restaurant, so patrons are merely greeted from afar and vaguely waved to go sit down, not ushered to a table.
The ramp for accessibility was steep and narrow, as a note for those who may need it.
All in all, a good experience with good food.
