visited Nunzios for restaurant week. The food was delicious. our friend got the chicken parm and said it was better and more tender than another restaurant she had it at the previous week.
The carbonara was delicious, as well as the ravioli.
Will definitely be back to try additional dishes.

We have been here several times but this time felt a little off. As we walked in at 7:30, there was no one at the hostess stand. A couple minutes later, one of the three shows up and instead of welcoming us, she simply asked about the reservation. Her dress code was questionable at best, not up to standards for a high end restaurant. The other two hostesses showed up and we were seated in the main dining room.
Ambiance was just okay, as too bright.
Service was great, Remy was very efficient. Food arrived too quickly as we ordered a bottle of wine (decent wine list) and still were done in an hour.
We started with mussels, one of the best dishes here. Seasonal tomato salad very good. My halibut special was excellent but the chicken parm dish was fair and not appetizing or tasty.
Overall, prices are reasonable but for the same price, Michael Anthony’s offers a much better ambiance and overall professional experience.

Nunzio Italian Restaurant in Hilton Head is a popular, classy — and affordable restaurant. Located in an expansive former bank building, Nunzio consistently draws in crowds of satisfied customers.
I had the prochutto and mozzarella appetizer and the Mezzi Rigitoni Calabrese with wild boar shoulder. Quite tasty.
On a recent Sunday night, the expansive restaurant was full or nearly full, with some customers enjoying outdoor dining. And another outdoor dining area to open soon — evidence of Nunzio’s ability to pull in a loyal clientele.

One of the top five restaurants on the island. Bright and fun. Upscale-ish with a very good bar and multiple venues on the property. They have an outdoor area, a really nice atrium room, and excellent dinning room. Food was excellent; comparable to near by Pomodori. Price was similar too. Staff were very friendly and professional. Efficient without appearing rushed. Really good!

Food was good. Mashed potatoes were great. Spinach plain. Pounded out piece of chicken breast marginal. Flounder had no flavor without the sauce, which was tasty. The veal had great presentation and was ok. Desserts good. The chocolate sauce on the tiramisu took away from the dessert.

My husband and I went here for our last dinner on the island and we were not disappointed! We started off with a manhattan and espresso martini, which were both very good. For our appetizer we got the Caesar salad and for our mains I got the crab and lobster ravioli and he got the rack of lamb. He was still feeling a bit hungry so he got the meatballs as well. I got a dirty martini and we finished our dinner with a chocolate truffle ice cream. Overall, we had a lovely experience and will be back!

If I could give them a 12 out of 10 I would! I have a severe wheat allergy and had the most knowledgeable waitress, Eleanor! She took her time explaining the specials and did an EXCELLENT job! She was able to substitute things for me and I CLEANED my plate! We were never without full drinks. The crème brûlée and carpaccio was some of the best I have ever had! Top notch restaurant, top notch waitress, & top notch meals all around the table!

First time eating at Nunzio’s restaurant.our server was fairly attentive, and made sure we had what we needed. Our bar drinks were very good. Salads and main course was also good. Because it was our anniversary we were given a delicious chocolate lava cake.

This was our second time to Nunzio. I enjoyed it the 1st time, my husband did not. I wanted to change his mind but unfortunately it was worse this time for him. Ordered the branzinno, which was very good. Not over cooked and the sauce was flavorful. Also had the calamari . Did not care for that. It was slightly overcooked which causes it to get rubbery. Also comes with marinara, which I prefer an aioli. Just a personal preference. No reflection on the dish. My husband ordered the filet which was supposed to be medium done but unfortunately came out well done. So that was ruined. They were nice enough to return the filet and offer a full refund. But we will not be returning.

Went here for dinner on the last night of our trip.
Such delicious food! I got the special of lobster ravioli and split it with my friend. So soooo good! Wish I had had the whole order to myself haha! The inside of the restaurant is so pretty and classy as well! Definitely on the more upscale side but loved it! The espresso creme brûlée was also really good! Our server was great and accommodated a diary allergy in our group well! We also had a reservation which I would recommend as well as it let us walk right in to our table! Wishing I had a Nunzio at home but I’ll definitely be back when I come back to the island!!
