TLDR: good value and huge portions, plus tasty food to boot!
I ordered the German apple pancake and did not expect the size of the pancake! It was almost two of my hands put together and had a nice glaze over the top , very delicious! The side of corned beef hash came out perfectly crispy and crusty on the outside and the fresh orange juice was so sweet, I thoroughly enjoyed all the food.

Parking little weird but service was great. The food was great and came out really fast. Nothing fancy but solid breakfast. The gravy could be little more meaty and maybe spicy but that is my own preference.

I cannot remember how many years I drove past The Original Pancake House in White Plains and said to myself, “I must stop in there one day.”
I FINALLY DID! And it was an absolute TREAT!
The server, Elizabeth, was polite and efficient. Told her it was my first time visiting and she described the size of the pancakes to help me decide on 3 or 6 (I chose SIX!).
I ordered pancakes with a side of bacon. The pancakes tasted fresh and PERFECT. Whipped butter easily applied and plenty of Maple syrup accompaniment!
AND THE BACON. WOW. Giant, thick strips (SLABS!) of perfectly-cooked meaty yumminess.
Get yourself to The Original Pancake House! Bring quarters for the parking meters (or the APP on your phone) as parking is on-street and metered and limited. (Literally my only “complaint” for an otherwise marvelous experience)

We’ve been here a couple of times before. There is usually about a 15-20 minute wait. The staff and kitchen move quickly and we are always treated well. Everyone enjoyed their food, the blueberry waffles were very good. The coconut pancakes were not that great and seem to be more a novelty than anything substantially coconut flavored. Even the “tropical syrup” that it comes with was not too great; a Suzette sauce might be a better compliment to the coconut pancakes.
The tables are well spaced out and the restaurant is clean. Around the area it is metered parking, so keep a timer on your phone to be safe.

I had the garden benedict, which was 2 beautifully poached eggs on an innovative English muffin with mozzarella instead of meat and benedict (hollandaise) sauce. That was a little cool but the eggs were perfect probably because they were making the pancakes i ordered, which you can get instead of potatoes. I will definitely go back. The food was so good. Oh, the garden benedict had fresh tomatoes as well and fresh spinach. I was so full. The coffee was very good and I had the decaf. I thought the service was great. The waitress was very clear, we only had to ask once. They are working very hard. It opens at 7 am and closes at 3 pm so there is a lot of pressure to seat everyone when it gets crowded. We went at 10 am and there were plenty of seats, by the time we left, there were people waiting. The entrance had a lot of salt because the piles of snow and sidewalks salted but everything was clean. This was my first time. I think I just thought it was that other kind of Pancake place but NOT at ALL!

The orange juice is absolutely amazing, freshly squeezed and refreshing. I enjoyed their pancakes, worth the hype. The place was clean. Our server neglected us, we just could not get their attention. Overall it was great, will definitely go back.

We visited on a Wednesday at around noon. There was no one at the hostess station, so we stood around for a while, waiting. When someone arrived, they weren’t very welcoming.
Once we were seated, it took around 10 minutes before a server arrived to take our order (I should note that the restaurant wasn’t terribly busy). Once we received our food, it was quite good. Orange juice was fresh, coffee was tasty. I ordered blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup and that was outstanding. The size of the pancakes were rather small. I also ordered biscuits with sausage gravy, and that was underwhelming. The gravy was lacking in seasoning.
Restrooms were clean and well-appointed.
Overall, the meal was satisfying and the food was tasty. If you come here, be prepared to wait.

Had to go to White Plains, since the one in Westport where we were regulars closed. Parking sucks due to construction and stuff around there. Finally got a spot, food was good. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my regular meal due to today being Ash Wednesday. Had a Dutch Baby. Like a cross between French toast, pancake, and some kind of bowl. Prices are sort of high, in my opinion. But I’m told, I don’t know what I’m talking about. Anyway good place to get breakfast.

Service was awesome, and the food came out really fast. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s a great, satisfying breakfast and everything tasted fresh. The gravy was still good—I’d personally love it a bit meatier or with a little spice next time, but overall I’d definitely come back.

The breakfast burrito and banana pancakes were delicious! Coffee was outstanding. Very small milk cup was provided. Parking is very limited.
