Second time dining here and A+ every time. Pictured below is the green salad with an encrusted everything avocado. Half mushroom shawarma and Greek lemon soup. The winter herbal tea was delicious too! I hope they bring one to South Shore soon.

We liked that the place is open reasonably late for vegan eats which is always a bit challenging to find later in the day. We got the Teriyaki bowl which had too many carrots in it and didn’t help the bowl. I like carrots, but it was too much. Some bok choi or other green vegetables would be more appropriate for this bowl. The bathroom was gross. Not the best vegan food in town but maybe we just ordered the wrong thing?

I’m not 100% convinced about this place. I love the concept, look, and atmosphere inside and I love all the plant-based options. The acai for example was great. But then I don’t get why the avocado bread is on one menu under “breakfast” and on another under “small bites”. I feel I way overpaid for that one. The matcha wasn’t good at all, but the chai I really liked. I also tried one of the wraps to go (teriyaki tofu) and it didn’t really taste like much. I tasted neither sesame nor teriyaki which was a huge bummer.

What a great stop! I have challenges finding foods to eat that match with my expectations. Unless it can’t be avoided I don’t eat foods with added sugars, processed ingredients or items that aren’t truly natural and/or healthy. Additionally, I prioritize organic. I’m pleased to say that this place offers real food that’s really good.
Food was fantastic, service was equally impressive and the location is convenient for many.
Thank you, Sam

We stopped and picked up lunch here on our way out of Boston. I placed the order online and pickup was no contact and super easy. The interior seemed cute and clean but we were eating on the go. I ordered the Mighty Greens salad and my husband had the Teriyaki wrap. The salad was quite good and I would happily order it again. There are so many things on this menu that I wish I could try. Would love if they opened a location in Houston!

There’s a good selection of warm healthy food. I enjoyed the cold pressed juices which were so refreshing. The cafe was so busy and it was difficult to get a table during lunch. Had to wait for quite a while to get sitting space even at the front counter area. The avocado toast and breakfast burrito were good. The food portions were good.

Hands-down, the best breakfast I’ve probably had in a long time. We both got açai bowls. I got the PB&J, and my husband got the peanut butter cup. We also split the waffle. So incredibly delicious!

Came here for the first time, after seeing that it was ranked #1 Boston for healthy eatery. I’m always trying to find a place that is both healthy and yummy. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Impressive assortment of healthy options in both meals, acai bowls, and drinks. They are not particularly TRADITIONAL (eg no green beans or Red beets in true Korean bibimbap) but definitely an healthy alternative with the same concept and design. I’m not sure what exactly defines a Buddha Bowl (is it the particular ingredients or the sauce… The last one I had it at another place had pumpkin/sweet potatoes but this one had avocado with mushroom). It was tangy and flavorful however. Went well with the Brown rice and chia seeds. Also my friend of Lebanese origin mentioned that the falafel was crispy and “not bad”. Tried the Blue Breeze, it was thick and tasted mostly like ground banana. Will try something else next time. The tahini latte tasted like latte and much lighter. Next time I want to try to bibimbap and also some of the acai bowls.
The place was full of people and noisy, it was hard to find seats. I found their system really efficient, however, where you wait in a line to order at the counter and pay, and then get a table number, get seated, they bring you the food, you eat and leave. No need to wait around so long to grab an attention of a waiter. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly. I liked the vibrant feel of the place. It was an interesting design (there are a lot more tables INSIDE, FYI). Gave 4/5 for atmosphere because we struggled to find a table and found a little corner of a larger table to gather together, and no-one seemed to offer assistance with the struggle… And sometimes it got too noisy. But speaks to how popular this place is!
Would definitely come back!!!

This place is incredible. As a gluten-free girl, traveling with her dairy-free friend, food can be a challenge.
This place had plenty of options to meet both of our dietary restrictions.
I had this zucchini/corn fritter bowl. It was incredible.
They also offer specialty coffees, salads, acai, all fresh and beautiful. This is a perfect summer spot for a cool meal. The prices were also strikingly reasonable, especially for Boston.
The vibe is also brilliant. The colors are vibrant, and the energy is high. I loved every aspect of Life Alive!
