The atmosphere was really good, vibrant, and fun. The food not so much. I wanted something simple for brunch so ordered the avocado and toast. It was really bad in almost a funny way. As you can see from the picture (taken as I received it) the random assortment of dry burger salad toppings were arranged in a weird druidic circle around my plate.

A single piece of hard supermarket bread in the middle. The salmon I removed as it’s freshness was questionable. The avocado was old and had a couple of the outer skin in it. The poached eggs were ok.

The server was nice but was oddly confused as to why I only had a couple of bits, however did not inquire as to why or if there was an issue with my meal.

I honestly thought at first it was some sort of prank being played on me. Maybe it was?

Lovely spot with a warm, cozy vibe and truly delicious Italian food. Everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and really knew their stuff — it made the whole experience feel extra special. Great place for a relaxed lunch, dinner with friends, or even a quiet solo meal with a glass of wine. Definitely coming back!

Honestly, the food was great. However, our server felt like he didn’t want to be there. He was mostly MIA (Francisco). Apparently, Patricia is the person you wanna request.

My family and I were there to celebrate my sister-in-laws recent engagement. One of the other servers (not Francisco) dropped a bowl of marinara on the floor and it splattered on the newly engaged couple. She was wearing a white sweater that had marinara splatter all over it. The server who spilt the marinara was very apologetic and even brought us oxi-clean to try to take care of the stains. All that being said, I was disappointed by Francisco’s reaction or lack thereof and frankly by managements reaction. Both just disregarded us and entirely. Neither our server or management apologized, nor did anyone offer to comp a single item for the dry cleaning that’ll be required. The cherry on top was the 20% auto gratuity that was charged at the end. When things go wrong, I believe how we react speaks volumes and leaves the lasting memory. The server who made the mistake owned it and showed my family care. Francisco and management did nothing, said nothing, charged us an extra 20% and then sent us on our way. My family and I will not be back.

Came here for a Sunday brunch with some friends, sat on the patio. Service and atmosphere were great.

Food, however, was mediocre. We ordered the bruschetta to share… the diced tomatoes had no flavor, and the bread seemed like cheap supermarket quality. Bit silly for $16 for 4 slices.

I ordered the garganelli all’arrabbiata for my main. The pasta was overcooked, basically fall-apart. Italians eat pasta pretty al dente, but this wasn’t even an American al dente. Sauce tasted like it was out of a jar, highlight was the 3 Calabrian chiles – but these were oddly served with the stem on.

Bit frustrating because these all seem like they’re easily solvable quality decision/control issues. Good Italian is very hard to find in Dallas, but this place could be great if there was just a bit more focus put on food quality.

What an amazing place for Italian food! I tried three different plates. One of them was seabass with black olives and special spices. It reminded me of one plate I had when I was in Rome.
The atmosphere was beyond incredible.
And guess what? If you have a birthday the waiters will sing you an Italian Happy birthday song.
I will go back for sure.

Came across this spot and decided to give it a try. The Branzino was actually quite good—nicely cooked and flavorful. Unfortunately, the salad that came with it was a real letdown. Not fresh at all and just poorly done …

One pleasant surprise was the mushroom soup. It didn’t look particularly appealing when served, but it tasted much better than expected—rich and comforting.

Service was just average. Staff weren’t particularly attentive, and the overall experience felt a bit underwhelming on that front..

Parking here was also an issue. Valet costs $7+ tips, but it was a bit of a walk and very inconvenient..

All in all, it’s one of those places with a couple of good items on the menu, but a lot of room for improvement when it comes to service and logistics.。

I always come to this place to enjoy the Beef Carpaccio. Today I ordered it to go for the first time and the serving size is just ridiculous. When is served in the restaurant is on a big round plate and is plenty. The order to go is less than 6 slices. For the same price, Not worth it.

We had an enjoyable experience at Taverna on New Year’s Eve. This place has always intrigued us as we walk past it on the trail. The service was incredibly friendly and we enjoyed the ambiance. Overall, the food was good but not excellent. We really enjoyed the burrata but felt that the pizza was not necessarily exceptional. Would give it 3.75-4 stars.

The food and service are great. The atmosphere? It depends. Inside is definitely better than the patio, even when the weather is nice. The patio is right next to a loud road. The worst seats? On the sidewalk, about 2 feet from the curb. Both kids and dangerous. So, it’s great if you can sit inside, good if you can sit on the patio, and terrible if you have to sit on the sidewalk.

This was my 3rd time here and I am always impressed with the service and quality of the food! Benny, the manager, was very welcoming and I knew the rest of my time here would be just as pleasant. Joseph was our server and he made great suggestions from wine, to the appetizer, to the main entree. I casually mentioned before my friend arrived we were celebrating her birthday and it would be her first time here. Benny and Joseph remembered and wished my friend a happy birthday and also asked how she enjoyed her first time visiting. This level of service and excellent food makes this place a place to always visit when I want to nice meal out!
