I wanted to share my disappointing experience with my recent visit to your restaurant. I had been looking forward to fulfilling my White Castle craving the day before starting my 40-day fast for Lent. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
Firstly, after paying with my credit card, the female worker at the window did not give me a receipt. Had I received a receipt, I would have been able to call the store and speak to a manager directly about my concerns. This lack of a receipt made it difficult to address the issue in a timely manner.
I ordered seven cheeseburgers with light ketchup and mustard, along with a medium fry. However, when I got home and took a bite of the sliders, all I could taste was mustard. Upon inspecting the sliders, I discovered there was not a single ounce of ketchup—just an overwhelming amount of mustard. Every slider was made this way, making my meal quite unpleasant.
Starting my fast with such a disappointing last meal was truly disheartening. I urge White Castle to improve the quality of their service and ensure that customers receive their receipts.

First time going back to Detroit since before covid era. White Castle is always a priority anytime I’m in this area. They absolutely did not disappoint. I tried the impossible slider, the bacon cheese burger slider, and the regular burger and cheese slider. Plus a chocolate dipped brownie. Everything was delicious and zero issues. Polite staff and very friendly. A well managed restaurant. Clean restrooms. No long of a wait. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back anytime I’m in the area.

Don’t bother using the app. I ordered 35 mins in advance. I showed up purposefully 8-10 mins later than my “arrival time,” and was greeted with, “It ain’t ready,” from a worker who looked like a homeless person from the streets who was acting as if doing his job was doing ME some kind of favor.
It took 16+ mins longer than the time I was quoted even though there were only 2 cars ahead of me and I ordered over 30+ mins in advance.
I give this place a shot about 1-2 times every year, yet they ALWAYS fail in the worse ways.

I love this place, the staff there is awesome . They had Naruto playing on the dining room TV. And the food of course was just phenomenal because it’s White Castle I got the 20 suitcase of half burgers half cheeseburgers, and two sacks of fries .
