Good ole Mafia pizza place. lol. I think we misconstrued the sliced beef for the Philly steak. Do not…I repeat do not add sliced beef to the pizza. They should take that off as a topping. Should be for sandwiches only…if that. Spinach is cooked down spinach, not baby spinach leaves…our fault. Wished they had specialty pizzas, so new comers can have an idea of what to expect instead of creating their own combo. Poor lady on the phone didn’t know anything. To her defense, she did say she was in training. <<>>

We live in the area, and this is the best catering around. Always delicious and always on time for pickup. The staff is fantastic, and the customer service is, too.
There’s something about this pizza that feels authentically Chicago while bringing a ton of pride to Northwest Indiana. Whiting has a food festival every year, and it’s no surprise that these restaurants have a deep culture of providing award-winning flavors to the community. This place is no exception! Oh, and the prices are on point, which keeps us coming back very frequently!

Capri’s is always a great experience. The food is fantastic, great prices and nice atmosphere. Have tried something different from the menu with each visit (6x). From pastas, pizzas to ribtips. Everything tastes great and we always have food leftover to bring home. We make it a must stop when traveling to Chicago from East of South Bend.
Met, Bill the last visit. We was a gracious host and genuinely enjoyed conversation and sharing their family history. Nice to see a family owned business.

Ordered the catfish dinner with fries and it was tasty. Fast service and a nice selection of items on the menu. The dinning room was big with plenty of seats but it was empty when I was there. I will be back for the pizza next week.

Grew up eating from Capri on 86th and commercial. The pizza is still fiyah and the broasted chicken was seasoned perfectly, tender, and hot.

OK, this pizza is REALLY good! I picked up an extra large pizza for lunch that easily fed five grown men. My friend suggested getting the extra thin crust, which was equivalent to a regular thin crust pizza at any other pizza place. The service was quick and friendly. Great spot to pick up a meal if you are using the Hammond Marina. I am looking forward to having this pizza again.

Just attempted to order 10 pc chicken and all dark and pizza which we’ve had no issues in the past doing. Was told they no longer do that, can only order in 2 pc or 4pc dark. Okay, so I requested to order x2 – 4pc dark chicken, and then was told they will allow only 1 order of 4 pc dark chicken. What? There’s a limit on ordering chicken? Is there a chicken shortage? Terrible customer service, terrible response from the person taking the orders. Will not order from capris again. This occurred 1/8 at 345pm.

Don’t expect great dine in service. We ordered, and the staff was mediocre, but have the potential to be friendly? They were hit and miss with different people as I sat and observed.. It is self-serve for your plastic wares. Food was delivered to our table. Pizza is higher quality than Domino’s or Pizza Hut, but don’t expect Giordanos or Edwardos quality. The chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside, but some pieces were drier than others. No seasoning could be detected. Everything was hot. I’m not sure if I will return. If I do, I may just pre-order for pick up.

Updated review. After speaking to the manager at this restaurant and explaining that they brought me the wrong pizza. She quickly made me the correct pizza and delivered to me. Got a true deep dish and it was delicious. Only thing I would recommend so that there is no confusion is on the menu instead of having 2 types deep dish, just list 1 as pan crust and other as deep dish. Or whoever is taking the order verify which one they are wanting to order.

I’ve had Capri’s Pizza all my life, from the missed Southside location to the Indiana location. I have always had a good experience with delivery for the most part, but I’m really enjoying the updated location and Dine-In area. Service is good, even though it’s pretty much place oreder, pick a seat, grab your own utensils and napkins, pick up your order when it’s called, and enjoy. Also, you discard your own trash, so table service is minimal, but it doesn’t take away from a good experience.
Pizza and appetizers are just as fresh and good as before (maybe a little better since you can enjoy it right from the oven!)
