Went with a friend to try the oysters for happy hour and they were so wonderfully tasty. After speaking with the staff we understood that this is an oyster company with 3 different farms in various locations producing both fresh and salt water. Oysters. We sampled 12 and were so pleased we ordered 12 more. The happy hour (4-6pm) price was $2 each which we thought was a great price. Greg our bartender friendly and helpful. You can find their restaurants in various locations including in Charleston SC Richmond VA, and even at Dulles airport at Concourse B near gate B 37. I enjoyed the freshness and different varieties available. We will be back.

Came here on a weeknight with coworkers during a work trip. They said the crab cake was gluten free but I’m unsure if it really was since I had digestive issues after. The shrimp were good but didn’t seem the freshest. The server was great and we had the outdoor dining area to ourselves. They had heaters but was still pretty cold so dress accordingly.

atmosphere is so good to look at the wharf and enjoy the breeze in the fall. Portion was generally on the smaller size but that’s typical of seafood restaurants. Server was quick to help us. Had a great meal here!

Enjoyed a late afternoon appetizer on the wharf, al fresco on a splendid January afternoon. 1/2 dozen oysters and 2 drinks. Nice atmosphere but a bit overpriced. ($60 for 6 oysters a draft beer and a cocktail.) Nice cocktail selection.

Every single dish was delicious. The Chesapeake raw oysters were amazing. Enjoyed the oysters Rockefeller, mussel pasta which my partner said was one of the best sauces he has ever tasted, and the crab cake was one of the largest I had which I partner enjoyed and he normally doesn’t like crab cakes. Great wine and ambiance.

I had a reservation for 7 people at 7 p.m. My friends were coming from all over. I checked in at 6:50 and they said table was not ready yet, can you wait until 7:10. I said sure. We all waited outside in the cold night. We tried again at 7:10 to be seated and the receptionist said people were still seated at our table. She showed us the table where the people were dining and they weren’t about to get up and leave. The receptionist said she was going to try and talk to her manager, gave me a little attitude like a reservation didn’t necessarily guarantee a seat. We tried waiting a few more minutes, but no paid us any attention so we left and ended up having better food somewhere else where the service was nice and they cared about us. Severely disappointed with lack of customer service. Will never go there again and will advise all my friends to avoid. I wouldn’t give them any stars but Google makes me give at least one. Reservation smezervation. It seems no one capable manages that place. The employees didn’t seem to care either and with all due respect — the hostess was wearing a see through shirt.

Really good birthday dinner! I’m pretty good with a vibe next to the water while enjoying seafood. Our bartender/server was very accommodating and made sure I was happy during our visit.

We started with the grilled octopus, 6 raw oysters & 6 rockefeller – atleast an 8 across the board – everything was pretty standard. The crabcakes, thai lettuce wraps, combo baskets and Branzino get two thumbs up for flavor and portions. For cocktails, I wasn’t a huge fan of the Forbidden Zone and Summer in Dogtown because the mezcal was overpowering but the Seasonal Sangria (Peach) was perfect!

Although the weather was terrible, we had a few minutes of calm to enjoy the scene and our food without chaos. I would definitely consider this a top choice for a view and vibes.

Food was excellent! Flavorful and well presented. Hostess was lovely. However, if you are a larger party and want check accommodations Levi is not your guy. Since gratuity is already included the “above and beyond” or even basic service is a wash. It was clear he was inconvenienced.

We visited a couple of days ago, and the food was absolutely incredible! The large seafood tower was perfect to share among three. Levi went above and beyond to take care of us, even though we were having a bit too much fun and may have been a little loud (sorry, Levi!). Despite our excitement, Levi handled everything with such grace and professionalism—we truly appreciate it. The restaurant was a bit quiet that evening, which probably made our energy stand out even more, but we had such a wonderful time. Thank you for a great experience!

The drinks at the bar were also amazing, I didn’t get the bartender’s name but my husband was VERY happy with his martini 🙂

The culinary experience was underwhelming. I ordered the Rappahannock raw oysters and the spinach baked oysters. Unfortunately, both dishes failed to meet expectations. I was genuinely disappointed, as I had been anticipating a superior oyster experience. While the Aguachiles were flavorful, they lacked avocado and depth of flavor. The main course resembled spaghetti soup, which was unappetizing. The shrimp and mussels were overcooked. The beverages were not satisfactory, they had a bitter taste.
