I don’t get to come here often since I don’t live in this area. But tonight on the way home to the from Greenville, my husband and I decided to stop in.
Fast, friendly service. Always top notch. Food is served hot, fresh, and you get your money’s worth. Picture provided was 2 for $19.99, Shrimp and flounder. It did not disappoint. We love it here.

Wife and I have visited this New Bern gem many times and the food never disappoints
There is plenty of on site parking. The restaurant is very easy to access off busy Hwy 70 in James City
The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The tables are in a horse shoe type layout around the bar located in the center with more tables in bar area
The food is too notch and consistent.
Some of our favorites are the pot roast, chicken salad , and seafood. The shrimp and grits are really good
The seafood is prepared fried or panned in butter
The wait staff are friendly and eager to please
They also have daily lunch specials snd prices are fairly reasonable
Today we had grilled pork chop and pot roast
Portions as you can see are generous

My family loves coming to Carolina Grill for birthdays and celebrations. They are always accommodating for big groups and they have a big menu with lots of options for all types of eaters. I love their homemade chicken salad platter.

Upon approaching the door at this restaurant they open the door for you. They have an amazing wait staff and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. The restroom is very clean with hot water. They make their own tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. The fried pickles are a great appetizer. My waiter was Rachel and she and her fellow coworkers were amazing very friendly and attentive. I had an issue with my food but it was taken care of in a very professional manner very quickly and without any attitude. I will recommend this place if you like great customer service great atmosphere and very professional service this is a place for you. I will visit again.

Like steaks, Seafood, chicken, salads etc. I had the smothered chicken breast ( onions, green peppers and cheese over a thick chicken breast), with fried okra and steamed vegetables. It’s my favorite. My wife had a cheeseburger with crispy fries. The food was outstanding. Our server Ava W. Was very professional. Friendly and attentive. I am never disappointed with the food and serves. The restrooms are clean and orderly. They have handicapped parking, access. And seating. Plenty of parking around the building.

Our meal today was excellent. Donna was so kind and helpful the whole time we were there.
My smothered chicken plate with broccoli and fries was excellent, and my friends fried osyster and shrimp plate was fantastic too.
It’s definitely one of the best local places in New Bern.

Came into town to visit family and stopped to eat dinner. Portions are large, prices are reasonable and good service. Hush puppies were lacking flavor and the Mac & cheese was dry but everything else was great!

We ordered the build your own burger (medium) and chicken salad sandwich. Maybe it’s just off today but we found both dry. However, the steam vegetables were cooked perfectly and the service was prompt. We’ll try other items when we come back.
