The place and the food are very different from anything I’ve tried before. The quality and the service were excellent.
The only disappointing part was that my husband informed the restaurant twice that we would be celebrating my birthday, and unfortunately that information seemed to be overlooked. We had planned this trip for a long time and chose this place specifically because of the great comments and reviews.
Considering it is a high-end restaurant, I expected more attention to detail, especially for a special occasion.
Overall, I really enjoyed the experience, but the lack of attention to such an important detail makes me unsure if I would return. In summary, despite the excellent food and service, I felt disappointed with the overall experience.

The steak at Maven absolutely blew my mind. The Wagyu A5 was out of this world buttery, tender, and bursting with flavor. Truly one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the last bite. Hands down the best steak in Antwerpen. If you love exceptional meat, this place is an absolute must.

Maven offers a beautiful setting and friendly (if slightly over-the-top) service, but the culinary execution didn’t quite justify the steep pricing. We had ‘The Experience’ menu; while the appetizers and fries were underwhelming and the steaks lacked essential seasoning, the cuisson was perfect and the sides, specifically the asparagus and plump hoisin tomatoes, were very tasty.
A major letdown was the cutlery; you expect sharp knives at a premium meat restaurant, yet ours remained dull even after we alerted the staff. Additionally, the shared Dame Blanche lacked the refinement of individual portions. It’s a nice one-time experience, but with Antwerp’s many great options, the finesse needs to be higher to earn a five-star recommendation.

It’s nice to experience their dining cuisine. But not that you will wanted to come back. The meat we had were good but not 1 of the best. Salads and sides are goods but too expensive/overprice. The waitress who accompanied us in begin was a little bit arrogant.

It’s a great experience of tasting meat. Live DJ and we had the luck he was awesome that evening to play perfect lounge music for dinner. Very friendly service as well at the table or at the counter if you have difficulty to choose your meat on the menu card. Minus, in the beginning don’t disturb the table several times by bringing amuse and drinks and converts, but bring it all in once.. it’s disturb the wonderful first experience

After looking forward to dining at Maven for quite some time, the day finally came and it was worth the wait. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a stunning glass wall showcasing an impressive wine collection. The hosts welcomed us warmly, setting the tone for what turned out to be a memorable evening.
As the doors opened, we were met with a beautifully designed restaurant. It is elegant, modern, and full of atmosphere. We were seated at a lovely table just behind the DJ booth, offering a perfect view of the entire dining room.
The starters were refined and full of flavor, and the dry-aged steaks were simply outstanding. I will describe it as tender, rich, and perfectly cooked.
Unfortunately, the evening took a small turn when I twisted my foot on the step by the restroom with my daughter in my arms. It did put a damper on the end of the night (and the days that followed), but overall, the experience at Maven was truly impressive. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality meat, great service, and a stylish setting.

Overall, a wonderful experience. Our evening got off to a rocky start due to a negative interaction with our initial server, but once we asked to be moved, everything went smoothly from there. The atmosphere is top-notch—cool, vibrant, and stylish, with a great DJ adding to the energy. Excellent selection of appetizers and meats. Would highly recommend.

Good food and quick service from the kitchen, but I felt like I was constantly waiting on the server to order things. After I received my post-meal coffee she didn’t come back until I flagged her down and had to ask twice to pay. Had a reservation for 1930 and didn’t leave until after 2130. It is pricey, but you can go see the steak you want to order. They bring it to you prior to cooking as well. Nice spot for a date night, I just hope the server was off that night or something.

Won-der-full experience! There is nothing bad the say, the meat has its price for sure but totally worth it, our host did a superb job. Well explained all dishes but also helped us regarding quantities, the starters, meat cuts etc. We never had to wait long before we got served although it was almost full house. Love the slight wood burn which was not overwhelming neither. We were a group of 6, took different cuts to share and were actually surprised how “low” the bill eventually was. We left the table completely satisfied. We will get back!
