Very cleanand inviting atnosphere. Authentic Mexican decor. Food wasn’t bad, but the portion was small for the price. The Margarita had little to alcohol, I wouldn’t bother if i were you.. I think it is probably one of the better options, though, for Clovis.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding the experience my group of 13 had at your establishment on 02/14/2026.
While we found the food to be bland, the service was even more concerning. Our waiter was rude and arrogant, and the rest of the wait staff was largely inattentive throughout the evening. It felt as though the quality of service was neglected because a gratuity was already included for a group of our size. Furthermore, we were seated directly next to a broom and a pile of trash that remained there for the duration of our meal.
Due to this poor experience, I cannot recommend your restaurant to others. I hope you will take this feedback into account to improve your service and cleanliness standards.

This place was recommended to me by the hotel receptionist. She was pretty passionate about it so I thought I’d give it a go. Well, she was right – this place was excellent. I had chips and salsa, chile verde, refried beans, and a crispy beef taco. It was all excellent and freshly made. My pet peeve is going out for Mexican and the beans, sauces, etc are out of a can. You won’t find that at Taqueria Jalisco. It’s all home made and very tasty. I can usually tell a place by the salsa and refried beans and they were both scratch made and excellent. The green sauce for the chile verde was outstanding and the pork was perfectly cooked. The beef taco was flavorful and crispy. If I lived here, I’d be a regular. I really liked this place – a lot.

The food was great. The service kinda stink tonight. We were sat in the very back in a booth and it seemed like the further away we were from the front the more they ignored us. Waiter came around sporadically. Our drink cups were never filled up. We had to ask any other wait staff that walked by for items we needed. Sat without silverware for a good 20 minutes until a staff member passed and we asked again for silverware, finally she brought some to our booth. Asked for a take out box waited over 20 minutes again had to ask someone else for it (which was the young man busting tables). Usually it’s pretty good service and food but tonight it was just off. Maybe next time it’ll be better. Maybe just a bad night.
