Pizza has generous toppings and tasty.

Our whole meal was great except the PRIME RIB! In the past prime rib was my go to at Nunzios. But not anymore, it was so tough and dry and I ordered it med. Rare
It took half my meal just cut the hard grissle around the outer edge all the way around and through the middle. We will now be going to Capri instead.

Nunzios recently open for lunch and my friends and I went there yesterday. The menu for lunch is the same as the dinner right now, but our very friendly server answered our questions and said they were working on a specific lunch menu and hopefully in the future be able to add on an outdoor dining space. We had great meals and it was nice to get together with old friends on this cold day. Nunzios is always a welcoming establishment.

Stopped in for dinner..ended up ordering a meat lovers pizza…was so good..lots of toppings and covered in cheese..crust was very good. Loved that when seated they start you off with a loaf of bread. This was nice to hold us over til meal came. The only thing I didn’t like was the noise level. Was hard to hear and talk with my husband..maybe it’s not like that all the time…Service was great and very friendly.. would definitely go back and try the pasta dishes.

Large portions of excellent food. I had the linguini with stuffed shrimp and my wife had the eggplant parmesan. Both were very delicious. After filling up at the restaurant, our to go meals were enough to give us two additional meals. Definitely a place we will come back to.

First time trying Nunzios we get raw shrimp(replaced no charge) but we still choose to try again. Was going great until we order delivery (10min away) and they call back and apparently do not deliver to our home. So hubby picks up no problem and the pizza is wrong(Canadian bacon lol). I call to get it replaced swap it out for the correct pizza and basically I’m told no you ordered wrong. By the host then by the manager. She answers the phone after transferring and is reading me what the server wrote down. That doesn’t help me. So your telling me I ordered my usual wrong or your busy and wrote it wrong after also telling me you could deliver?! All I’m saying is I spoke to two women who refused to help me then my husband calls mad and gets a gentleman and gets the pizza replaced. Take care of your customers that’s what keeps them coming back not having to call you to get zero help. Thank you to the gentleman for keeping us coming back.

Got an outstanding thin crust pizza to take out. Service and selection (great bourbons) in the bar while we waited was also excellent. We went back less than a week later. Same top notch experience. Next time I’m in Rockford this may be my first stop.

I was recommended by coworkers to try out Nunzio’s, so I did. We’ve been here three weekends in a row. I’m not from Rockford, but I’ll tell you it’s one of the best original Italian restaurants here. With a packed house, I was impressed how our waitress made sure she kept us serviced very well and right on time. The food is absolutely on point and has become one of our favorite restaurants.
